Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort represents a modern, tech-forward choice for GCC buyers looking for luxury features at a competitive price point. With mileage reflecting typical highway use in the region, it remains a robust option thanks to its efficient 1.5L turbocharged engine. The blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains its appeal in the local secondary market. As the entry-level premium crossover from Chery's high-end sub-brand, it offers a cabin refinement usually reserved for much more expensive European rivals. For a GCC owner, the standout benefit is the balance of advanced technology and a fuel-efficient powertrain suited for daily city commutes and inter-emirate travel.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

At 99,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is slightly higher than the 20,000–25,000 km GCC annual average, suggesting consistent highway use which often results in less mechanical wear than stop-start city driving. The blue exterior is a distinctive and stable resale color in the UAE and wider GCC market, offering a more premium look than standard white or silver. It remains a high-value opportunity for buyers seeking the latest 2024 tech updates without the new-car depreciation hit.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as the entry point into the Exeed brand, but it still includes features that GCC buyers value highly, such as a 360-degree camera system and leather upholstery. While it lacks some of the ADAS features of the Luxury trim, it retains the signature twin 12.3-inch curved screen architecture and LED lighting that define the model's premium feel. It is the preferred choice for those prioritizing fuel efficiency and lower running costs over the larger 1.6L engine found in higher variants.

Exeed LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX is frequently cross-shopped with the MG HS and the Changan CS75 Plus in the GCC market. It leads its rivals in cabin technology, offering a more integrated and higher-resolution screen setup that feels significantly more modern. Additionally, its fuel tank capacity and combined efficiency make it a more economical long-distance cruiser for desert highway routes compared to some of its less aerodynamic competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

With a combined fuel consumption of approximately 6.9 L/100km, the LX is one of the more efficient crossovers in its class, perfectly suited for the long-distance driving common across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Exeed has established a growing authorized service network across major GCC cities, with standard service intervals typically every 10,000 km. While the brand is newer than Japanese stalwarts, it benefits from a strong manufacturer-backed warranty that supports its resale value at the 3-year mark. Parts availability is robust through established local distributors like Al Ghurair Motors.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine produces 144 hp and 230 Nm of torque, delivering a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 10.5 seconds through a smooth CVT. This powertrain is optimized for the steady highway speeds found on the E11 and E311, providing reliable overtaking power without excessive fuel burn. While designed primarily for urban and highway use, its 200 mm of ground clearance is ample for navigating gravel tracks or uneven surfaces during weekend outings. The front-wheel-drive setup ensures the vehicle remains light and agile in heavy city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight, featuring a five-seat layout with leather-trimmed surfaces and a high-quality finish that stands up well to the extreme GCC summer heat. Standard air conditioning is powerful, complemented by rear vents to ensure all passengers remain cool during peak temperatures. The dual-screen setup is intuitive and supports modern smartphone integration, while the 400-litre boot provides enough space for family luggage or groceries. Excellent cabin insulation helps minimize wind and road noise during high-speed highway travel between emirates.

Safety

Standard safety on the Comfort trim includes a comprehensive 6-airbag system and a 360-degree camera that is invaluable for parking in tight urban spaces. It features essential active systems such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control, which provide confidence on sandy or rain-slicked surfaces. Cruise control is standard, assisting with driver fatigue on long-distance desert drives, while the robust build quality offers peace of mind for family use.

The bottom line

For the tech-conscious buyer in the GCC, this 2024 Exeed LX offers an upscale European-style interior and modern features at a fraction of the cost, making it a smart, high-value choice for 2024.
