Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX is a standout choice for buyers seeking a modern, tech-focused crossover that bridges the gap between value and luxury. With a mileage profile that sits perfectly at the average for a newer GCC-based vehicle, it offers the peace of mind of a fresh engine paired with the reliability of local regional specifications. The white exterior is a strategic advantage in the GCC market, known for its high heat reflection and superior resale value. As a premium sub-brand of Chery, Exeed provides a level of interior refinement and acoustic insulation that often surprises buyers shopping in this segment. This specific listing represents a smart opportunity to own a current-model-year SUV with a comprehensive feature set at a significant saving from the showroom price.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

With just under 50,000 km, this LX has been driven within the expected range for a high-usage GCC environment, where 25,000 km per year is typical due to highway commuting between emirates. Unlike many imports, this is a genuine GCC-spec vehicle, ensuring the air conditioning and engine cooling systems are factory-calibrated for peak summer performance. The white finish remains the most sought-after color in the regional used market, ensuring faster liquidity and better price retention than darker alternatives.

Comfort vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as a high-value entry point, yet it retains several features that GCC buyers often expect only in higher specifications, such as the impressive dual 12.3-inch high-definition screens. It includes leather-look seating and a suite of essential technologies like a 360-degree camera system, which is a major convenience for parking in dense urban areas like Dubai or Riyadh. While higher trims add more ADAS features, the Comfort trim focuses on the core premium experience with soft-touch materials and standard LED lighting.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed LX competes directly with the MG ZS and Geely Coolray, distinguishing itself with a more horizontally focused, 'European-style' dashboard layout and superior cabin quietness. Its 1.5-liter turbocharged engine is tuned for efficiency, offering a smoother CVT experience that rivals the fuel economy of its peers while providing a larger 51-liter fuel tank for longer range on cross-country highway runs. The 400-liter boot space is particularly competitive for a subcompact crossover, making it more practical for small families.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel efficiency is a strong point, averaging 6.9 L/100km, which helps manage costs during stop-start city traffic in major GCC hubs. Service is supported by an expanding regional network, including Al Ghurair in the UAE and Arabian Heritage Motors in Saudi Arabia, with a massive parts distribution center recently opened in Dubai to ensure fast turnaround. The brand's 10-year engine warranty in many markets reflects a high level of confidence in durability, helping to stabilize depreciation at roughly 12-15% annually, which is competitive for the premium Chinese segment.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine delivers a balanced 156 hp, providing reliable power for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. With 200 mm of ground clearance, it handles gravel tracks and speed bumps with ease, though it is primarily designed for urban and highway comfort rather than heavy off-roading. The drive modes allow you to toggle between Eco and Normal to suit your preference, whether you're navigating city streets or cruising between borders.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the LX feels significantly more upscale than its price point suggests, featuring a horizontal dashboard design that integrates two massive digital displays. The air conditioning system is robust, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers stay cool during the extreme summer months. Acoustic glass and an insulated hood contribute to a remarkably quiet ride for its class, reducing the fatigue typically associated with long-distance GCC road trips.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this trim includes essential active systems like Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), and a 360-degree camera that provides a bird's-eye view for easier maneuvering. The vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors, catering to young families. The inclusion of Tire Pressure Monitoring is particularly useful in the GCC, where high road temperatures require constant vigilance over tire health.

The bottom line

This Exeed LX is the perfect fit for a tech-savvy professional or a small family looking for a premium-feeling SUV that won't break the bank at the pump or the service center.
