Summary

This 2024 Exeed TXL Comfort offers a sophisticated blend of technology and space, making it a compelling alternative to established midsize SUVs. With less than 80,000 km, its mileage reflects consistent but responsible use within the GCC, where long-distance commutes are standard. The Grey exterior is a highly practical choice for the region, maintaining a clean appearance against desert dust while supporting strong resale interest. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from localized cooling and a valid service history, essential for managing the high-summer temperatures. For the buyer looking for a modern, feature-rich crossover without the premium price tag of a Japanese rival, this listing represents a strategic entry into the premium Chinese automotive segment.

This Car vs Other 2024 TXLs

With 79,231 km on the odometer, this TXL sits at the average mileage mark for a 2024 model in the UAE, typically covering roughly 30,000–35,000 km per year. The Grey finish is one of the most resilient colors for the GCC climate, effectively hiding minor road wear and desert sand. Choosing a GCC-spec 2024 model ensures the vehicle was built with the necessary radiator and AC upgrades for local heat, unlike imported Chinese-market equivalents.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as a well-equipped entry point, offering high-value features that GCC buyers prioritize, such as the 360-degree camera system for tight urban parking. Unlike lower base specifications often found in other markets, this trim includes a power tailgate and keyless entry as standard. You also get the dual 12.3-inch screen setup, providing a digital cockpit experience that rivals higher-spec European crossovers.

TXL vs Segment Rivals

The TXL primarily competes with the Chery Tiggo 8 and Jetour X70 Plus, leading with a more premium interior aesthetic and the M3X Mars architecture for a more refined ride. Its 2,800 mm wheelbase provides superior rear legroom compared to the Jeep Renegade or smaller compact crossovers in this price bracket. The 1.6-litre turbocharged engine offers a balanced middle ground between the efficiency of smaller engines and the high fuel costs of larger V6 rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T engine averages approximately 6.8 to 7.4 L/100km, which is efficient for daily commuting between Emirates. Exeed has established a growing service presence through official distributors like Al Ghurair in the UAE and Arabian Heritage Motors in Saudi Arabia, with recommended service intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese marques, the TXL's strong feature list helps stabilize its value at the 3-year mark in the used market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre TGDI engine produces a punchy 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, enabling confident highway overtaking and a 0–100 km/h time of approximately 10 seconds. The 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smoothness in stop-start city traffic, a common requirement for Dubai or Riyadh drivers. With 200 mm of ground clearance, the TXL handles gravel tracks and weekend escapes to the wadis with ease, though it remains a road-focused front-wheel-drive SUV.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to combat the GCC summer with rear AC vents and a dual-zone climate control system that ensures even cooling for all five passengers. High-quality leatherette seats and acoustic glass provide a quiet, insulated environment that shields occupants from the heat and road noise during long trans-Emirate drives. The minimalist dash is dominated by the massive 24.6-inch dual-screen interface, offering seamless access to navigation and media.

Safety

This TXL comes standard with a robust safety suite including multiple airbags, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), and a 360-degree surround-view camera that is particularly helpful in navigating busy UAE malls. Active safety features such as Hill Descent Control and stability management systems provide extra security on sandy road shoulders or during rare rain events. The body construction utilizes high-strength steel, providing a solid safety foundation for family transport.

The bottom line

For the tech-focused family buyer, this GCC-spec TXL offers a premium cabin experience and modern performance at a significant savings over new-car prices.
