Summary

This 2024 Exeed TXL Comfort is a compelling choice in the mid-size SUV segment, offering a premium cabin experience that punches well above its price point. With mileage under 60,000 km, this vehicle sits comfortably within the average range for its year in the GCC market, suggesting it has been used primarily for standard urban commuting. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical choices for the region, offering excellent dust management and strong resale appeal across the Emirates and Saudi Arabia. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from the full local support of Al Ghurair Motors and a cooling system specifically tuned for extreme summer heat. For a buyer looking for a modern, tech-forward family crossover with a valid presence in the regional service network, this listing represents a strategic alternative to mainstream Japanese and Korean rivals.

This Car vs Other 2024 TXLs

With 58,138 km on the odometer, this TXL is right on the average for a two-year-old vehicle in the GCC, where 25,000 to 30,000 km per year is the standard for highway-heavy commuting. The Grey exterior is a high-demand, neutral choice that significantly aids resale value in the local market compared to niche colors. This specific unit represents the sweet spot for buyers seeking the updated 2024 technology suite while avoiding the steeper depreciation of a brand-new showroom car.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as the sophisticated entry point into the TXL lineup, featuring standard equipment that many rivals only offer in premium packages, such as a 360-degree camera and dual high-resolution displays. Unlike lower-tier crossovers, it includes an air quality monitoring system with PM2.5 filtration, which is a vital feature for the dusty GCC environment. It also standardizes acoustic glass, significantly reducing road noise on the high-speed E11 and E311 highways.

TXL vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed TXL is frequently cross-shopped with the MG HS and the Geely Monjaro, leading its segment in cabin material quality and standard safety technology. While rivals often charge extra for advanced driver aids, the TXL includes a comprehensive suite of sensors and cameras as standard. Its 2,800 mm wheelbase ensures rear legroom that competes with larger SUVs, making it a more comfortable choice for family trips across borders to Oman or Saudi Arabia.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T engine averages between 7.5 and 9.0 L/100km depending on GCC traffic conditions, proving efficient for a mid-size crossover. Service intervals are strictly every 10,000 km, and with Al Ghurair Motors expanding their network to six locations across the UAE, maintenance is highly accessible. While Chinese luxury sub-brands typically see slightly higher initial depreciation than Japanese mainstays, the TXL's strong equipment list helps it maintain approximately 50-55% of its value over three years in the regional market.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-litre TGDI engine delivers 197 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, providing smooth overtaking power for fast-moving UAE traffic. Paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, it offers a refined drive that prioritizes comfort over aggressive shifts. While this front-wheel-drive model is road-biased, its 200 mm ground clearance allows it to handle gravel paths and desert road transitions with ease during weekend outdoor trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during 45°C summers. The interior is defined by high-quality soft-touch materials and a minimalist digital cockpit that integrates seamlessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Insulation is a particular highlight, with significant sound-deadening materials used to isolate the cabin from engine vibration and external heat.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the TXL, which achieved a 'Five-Star Plus' rating in C-NCAP testing with a high-strength steel cage designed to withstand extreme impacts. The Comfort trim is equipped with essential ADAS features including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts, which are crucial for navigating multi-lane GCC highways. Stability control and hill-descent systems come standard, providing added confidence when driving on loose sand or uneven surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2024 Exeed TXL Comfort is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy family looking for a premium SUV experience at a mid-market price point, backed by a strong UAE service network.
