Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort offers a modern, high-tech entry into the premium crossover market with a mileage profile that reflects regular highway use across the UAE. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes equipped with the cooling and filtration systems necessary to handle the region's extreme summer temperatures and dusty conditions. The vibrant Blue exterior provides a distinctive look on the road while maintaining good desirability in the local used market. Competing against established mid-size SUVs, the LX stands out by offering a level of interior technology and cabin refinement usually reserved for much more expensive European alternatives. For a buyer looking for a recent model year that balances efficiency with a premium feel, this listing represents a strategic choice for both city commuting and inter-emirate travel.

This Car vs Other 2024 Exeed LXs

With 63,201 km, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting a history of consistent highway use between emirates. This type of mileage often means the mechanical components have reached stable operating temperatures rather than suffering the wear of stop-start city traffic. The Blue paint is a refreshing alternative to the common white or silver, yet it remains a stable color for resale value in the UAE.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as the entry point to the Exeed range but is far from basic, including essential GCC features like a 360-degree camera and a dual-screen digital cockpit that many rivals only offer on top-tier trims. While higher trims add larger alloy wheels and additional ADAS sensors, the Comfort focuses on core premium amenities like leatherette upholstery and a panoramic sunroof. It provides the best value-to-feature ratio for buyers who prioritize cabin technology over performance-oriented upgrades.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The LX is often cross-shopped with the Mitsubishi ASX and the MG RX5, where it leads significantly in interior digital real estate and dashboard material quality. While Japanese rivals lean on legacy durability, the Exeed offers a far more modern cabin experience with integrated curved displays that appeal to tech-conscious buyers. Its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine is specifically tuned for a balance of urban agility and fuel efficiency, making it cheaper to run daily than larger-displacement competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically hovers around 6.9 to 7.8 L/100km, making it one of the more efficient turbocharged crossovers for daily Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Service intervals for Exeed in the GCC are generally scheduled every 10,000 km, with a growing authorized service network managed by major distributors across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese premium brands face slightly higher initial depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the LX holds its value well thanks to its generous 7-year/200,000 km regional warranty that often transfers to second owners.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine produces 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, providing smooth power delivery through a CVT that simulates nine gear ratios. This setup is ideal for the flat, high-speed highways of the GCC, offering enough mid-range punch for confident overtaking at 120 km/h. While strictly a front-wheel-drive road-goer, its 200 mm ground clearance allows it to handle gravel tracks and high speed-bumps with more ease than a standard sedan.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the LX features a dual 12.3-inch screen setup that dominates the dashboard, providing a highly digitized environment for the driver. The climate control system is engineered for the Middle East, featuring rear AC vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool during peak summer months. Acoustic glass and decent insulation help keep the cabin quiet, shielding occupants from road noise during long-distance drives across the desert.

Safety

The 2024 LX comes standard with a robust safety suite including Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, and a 360-degree high-definition camera system that makes parking in tight urban spaces effortless. Passive safety is handled by a high-strength steel cage and multiple airbags, providing peace of mind for family transport. It also features cruise control and hill-start assist, which are particularly helpful during long highway stretches and multi-level parking garage exits.

The bottom line

This Exeed LX is the perfect match for a buyer seeking a near-new premium SUV experience at a accessible price point, backed by the security of a GCC-wide service network and manufacturer warranty.
