Summary

This 2024 Exeed LX Comfort represents a highly modern entry into the premium crossover segment, balancing advanced Chinese technology with a proven turbocharged powertrain. With mileage slightly above the annual GCC average, it has been primarily used for highway commuting between emirates, where its refined cabin and cruise control are most effective. The Blue exterior is a refreshed alternative to the standard local palette, maintaining good visibility and appeal in the used market. It stands out from rivals by offering high-end features like a dual-screen digital cockpit that typically requires a much higher investment in European brands. For a buyer in the GCC, this listing provides a late-model luxury experience with significant remaining warranty potential and a robust climate control system built for the desert summer.

This Car vs Other 2024 LXs

At 58,786 km, this LX is priced to reflect its active first year of use, making it a more accessible entry point compared to lower-mileage examples. While average GCC annual mileage is typically 25,000 km, this vehicle’s usage suggests consistent highway driving which often results in less wear on the brakes and transmission than stop-start city traffic. The Blue exterior is a desirable choice in the region, offering better heat reflection than black while holding its value well against traditional silver or white options.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim serves as a high-value entry point, standardizing premium features that are often optional in this segment, such as the 360-degree camera and dual 12.3-inch panoramic screens. It includes essential GCC-specific features like high-output air conditioning and integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless navigation across the Emirates. While higher trims add a larger engine, the Comfort focuses on fuel efficiency and urban usability without sacrificing the brand's signature luxury interior materials.

LX vs Segment Rivals

The LX competes directly with the Changan CS35 Plus and MG ZS, leading the group with a more premium interior finish and a significantly larger digital display area. Its 51-litre fuel tank provides competitive range for long-distance highway drives between Dubai and Abu Dhabi or Riyadh. Unlike many rivals, the LX offers a more sophisticated multi-link rear suspension that provides superior stability and comfort on the high-speed roads common across the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.5T engine averages 7–8 L/100 km, making it one of the most efficient premium crossovers for daily commuting in the GCC. Service intervals are standard at every 10,000 km, supported by a growing authorized network managed by Al Ghurair Motors in the UAE and similar established partners in KSA and Oman. As a newer brand, initial depreciation is higher than Japanese rivals, but value retention is bolstered by the 7-year/200,000 km manufacturer warranty that provides long-term peace of mind for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine delivers 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, allowing for confident highway overtaking and smooth acceleration from 0–100 km/h in approximately 9.5 seconds. The CVT transmission is programmed with 9 virtual ratios, specifically tuned for the flat, fast-moving roads of the UAE to maximize fuel economy. While front-wheel drive, its 200 mm ground clearance is ample for handling sand-drifted coastal roads and the occasional gravel path during weekend trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 24.6-inch total display area that gives the interior a futuristic, high-tech feel unique at this price point. Standard leatherette seats and soft-touch materials throughout the dashboard elevate the driving experience during long commutes across borders. For the GCC climate, the air conditioning system is designed for high-ambient temperatures, featuring dedicated rear vents to ensure all five passengers remain cool during the peak of summer.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this Comfort trim includes a 360-degree camera system for easier parking in tight urban spaces, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Traction Control essential for varied road surfaces. It features front and side airbags, plus ISOFIX points for family use, ensuring a high level of protection. The LX is built on a high-strength steel chassis designed to meet global 5-star safety standards, offering robust security on fast-moving highways.

The bottom line

For the tech-focused professional or small family, this 2024 Exeed LX is a smart alternative to mainstream crossovers, offering a much higher tech-to-price ratio. It remains a standout opportunity for those wanting a nearly new luxury experience with the security of GCC-spec reliability and localized dealer support.
