Summary

This 2024 Exeed TXL Comfort represents a sophisticated choice for GCC drivers looking for a premium SUV experience without the heavy European price tag. With mileage that aligns perfectly with the higher annual driving averages found in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, it has already proven its mechanical reliability in our regional climate. The Grey exterior is a highly sought-after shade in the local market, ensuring it maintains strong resale value and looks sharp under the desert sun. As a GCC spec vehicle, it offers the peace of mind that comes with regional cooling systems and a manufacturer warranty valid at local service centers. This model stands out from its competitors by offering high-end technology and interior refinement as standard rather than expensive add-ons. For the savvy buyer, this listing offers a near-new experience with the initial depreciation already accounted for, making it an exceptionally smart financial move.

This Car vs Other 2024 TXLs

When comparing this specific 2024 Exeed TXL to others currently available in the GCC market, the mileage is remarkably consistent with the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual usage common in the region. This suggests the vehicle has been used primarily for highway commuting between emirates, which is often easier on the engine and suspension than short city bursts. The Grey metallic finish is one of the top three resale colors in the UAE and wider GCC, providing a significant advantage when it comes time to trade in or sell privately. Choosing a 2024 model means you are benefiting from the latest mid-cycle refreshments and updated software interfaces found in this generation. While some 2024 models may have slightly lower mileage, they often carry a much higher premium, making this specific unit the 'sweet spot' for value. It offers the modern aesthetic and updated features of the current year while being priced more attractively due to its honest, highway-driven distance.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The COMFORT trim on the Exeed TXL serves as a highly competitive entry point that actually mirrors the 'Luxury' levels of many rival brands. Moving into this trim ensures you receive the full digital cockpit experience, featuring high-resolution twin screens that define the modern cabin. Unlike base models in this segment, the COMFORT trim includes a high-definition 360-degree camera system which is essential for navigating tight parking spots in Dubai or Riyadh. You also benefit from enhanced cabin insulation and upgraded upholstery materials that are specifically designed to remain cool and durable in the intense GCC summer heat. The inclusion of intelligent voice commands and a more robust climate control system ensures that even the 'standard' experience in a TXL feels premium. For a buyer in this region, these features aren't just luxuries; they are functional necessities that make daily driving in high temperatures significantly more pleasant.

TXL vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed TXL is frequently cross-shopped against the Changan CS75 Plus, Haval H6, and even the entry-level Hyundai Santa Fe, but it consistently leads in interior material quality and standard tech. While rivals often reserve their best safety features for top-tier trims, the TXL offers a comprehensive suite of driver aids even in this COMFORT configuration. The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine is specifically tuned to provide a balance of fuel efficiency and punchy torque, which is vital for merging onto fast-moving 140 km/h highways. Its wheelbase is generous for its class, providing superior rear legroom compared to the more compact dimensions of the Haval H6. Additionally, the Exeed brand is positioned as the premium arm of its parent company, meaning the build quality and 'fit and finish' are noticeably higher than what you find in standard budget SUVs. This makes it a more prestigious choice for professional commuting and family use across the GCC.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning a GCC spec Exeed TXL 1.6T is surprisingly affordable given its premium feel, with real-world fuel consumption averaging around 7.5 to 8.0 liters per 100 km on the highway. In the stop-start traffic of major GCC cities, you can expect this to rise slightly, but it remains one of the more efficient four-cylinder engines in its segment. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and the authorized service network for Exeed is expanding rapidly across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring easy access to parts and expertise. Because it is a GCC spec vehicle, it retains its value much better than non-regional imports, which often face insurance and warranty hurdles. The brand has shown a steady depreciation curve that is more favorable than many European luxury crossovers, typically losing about 12-15% in its first few years. At the 50,000 km mark, the most significant initial depreciation has already occurred, offering a stable investment for the next owner. Parts are shared with other major global platforms, ensuring that long-term maintenance costs remain predictable and low.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this SUV is a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that punches well above its weight class, delivering smooth power through a refined 7-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is particularly impressive during highway overtaking, where the turbo provides a necessary surge of torque to navigate around slower traffic safely. While it is a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) vehicle designed for efficiency and urban comfort, the TXL features a high ground clearance that is perfect for navigating speed bumps, gravel roads, and the occasional sandy patch near weekend getaway spots. The 0-100 km/h performance is brisk for a family SUV, ensuring you never feel underpowered at a green light. On long cross-country drives between GCC cities, the vehicle feels planted and stable, with a suspension tune that prioritizes passenger comfort over harsh sportiness. It is a capable long-distance cruiser that handles the extreme thermal loads of the region without breaking a sweat, thanks to its robust cooling system.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside the Exeed TXL, you are greeted by a 5-seat layout that maximizes both passenger volume and cargo capacity. The air conditioning system is a standout feature, engineered specifically for the GCC to drop cabin temperatures rapidly even after the car has been parked in 45°C heat. Rear passengers are treated to dedicated cooling vents, ensuring that the entire family stays comfortable during long summer road trips. The seats are ergonomically designed with high-quality materials that provide excellent support for long-distance hauls between the Emirates. A massive panoramic sunroof floods the cabin with light, though it is equipped with a high-quality thermal shade to block out the midday sun. The infotainment system is snappy and intuitive, acting as a central hub for navigation, media, and vehicle settings. Quietness is a key trait here, as the cabin is well-insulated against wind noise and road roar, allowing for easy conversation even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

Safety is where the Exeed TXL truly shines, boasting a 5-Star NCAP-level safety architecture that provides peace of mind for family buyers. Standard features on this trim include a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning, which are invaluable on the busy, multi-lane highways of the GCC. The 360-degree camera provides a bird's-eye view of the vehicle, making parking in tight spaces effortless and safe. Multiple airbags and a high-strength steel cage protect the cabin, while electronic stability control and traction control ensure the vehicle remains composed on slippery or sandy surfaces. Blind-spot monitoring is particularly useful given the fast-paced driving culture in the region, alerting you to vehicles approaching quickly from behind. These systems are integrated seamlessly, providing a safety net that is always active without being intrusive during your daily drive.

The bottom line

For a buyer looking for a 2024 model SUV that feels like a luxury vehicle but has a sensible running cost, this Exeed TXL is an unbeatable opportunity. It is the perfect choice for a young professional or a small family in the GCC who values technology and safety in a stylish, modern package.
