Summary

This 2024 Exeed VX Flagship represents a compelling opportunity for GCC families seeking maximum features and a premium cabin without the steep price tag of European rivals. As the range-topping 7-seater trim, the Flagship benefits from a refined 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission and a sophisticated triple-screen digital cockpit that remains ahead of its segment. The Ayers Grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand choice in the UAE and Saudi markets, supporting better value retention than more adventurous shades. Despite being only two years old, its higher mileage indicates consistent highway use across the emirates, a task this SUV handles with impressive insulation and cabin comfort. For a buyer looking to secure a modern, technology-heavy flagship SUV that is still within its comprehensive local warranty period, this listing offers significant savings over its initial showroom price.

This Car vs Other 2024 VXs

At 125,000 km, this vehicle has covered significantly more distance than the average 2-year-old family SUV in the GCC, which typically sees 40,000 to 50,000 km. However, in the local market, high mileage on a young vehicle often signals routine inter-emirate highway travel rather than punishing city stop-start cycles. The Grey exterior remains one of the most resilient and sought-after colors for resale in the UAE and Qatar, effectively balancing aesthetic appeal with heat reflection.

FLAGSHIP vs Lower Trims

The Flagship trim is a significant step up from the Luxury base model, adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a massive panoramic sunroof. While the base trim is well-equipped, the Flagship provides the sophisticated 23-speaker iFlytek premium audio system and the full 40.1-inch triple-display dashboard. It also standardizes the 360-degree camera and more advanced Level 2 driver assistance systems that are optional or absent on lower versions.

VX vs Segment Rivals

The Exeed VX competes directly with the Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride, leading both in terms of sheer interior technology and screen real estate at a lower price point. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged engine offers comparable highway overtaking power to its V6 rivals while benefiting from more modern gearbox tuning. Against Chinese competitors like the Changan CS95, the VX stands out with a more premium cabin finish and a longer 2,900 mm wheelbase for superior second-row legroom.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T AWD powertrain typically averages around 8.8 L/100km, though this can rise to 11 L/100km in dense GCC city traffic. Authorized service centers are well-established in major hubs like Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah through partners like Al Ghurair, ensuring reliable parts availability. While initial depreciation for newer luxury entries is higher than for Japanese stalwarts, the 7-year/200,000 km warranty provides a crucial safety net for the second owner.

Performance & Capability

The 250 hp turbocharged engine delivers a verified 0-100 km/h time of under 8 seconds, making it one of the punchier 4-cylinder SUVs in its class. This Flagship trim utilizes an All-Wheel Drive system that provides added stability on gravel access roads or during the occasional rainy day on the E11. While not a dedicated off-roader, its refined Aisin 8-speed automatic makes it an exceptional long-distance cruiser between cities like Muscat and Dubai.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a genuine highlight, featuring a Nappa leather-wrapped interior and a 'Queen Seat' for the front passenger with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Multi-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents ensures all seven passengers remain cool during peak summer months. The triple-screen setup, powered by a high-speed Snapdragon processor, provides seamless integration for navigation and media across the 40-inch digital interface.

Safety

Safety is managed by an extensive suite of 26 ADAS features, including blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control which is indispensable for long desert highway stretches. The vehicle is equipped with 10 airbags, providing comprehensive coverage for all three rows of passengers. A 540-degree around-view monitor uses high-resolution cameras to eliminate blind spots when parking this nearly 5-meter-long SUV in tight urban spaces.

The bottom line

Perfect for the tech-focused family who wants a flagship 7-seater experience today, this high-spec VX is a smart way to bypass new-car depreciation while retaining the security of an authorized GCC service history.
