Summary

This 2025 Geely Monjaro GF represents one of the strongest value propositions in the current GCC used market, offering European-level refinement at a significantly more accessible price point. The GF trim is particularly sought after for its triple-screen dashboard and high-end cabin materials, which help it hold value better than base models. Silver is a high-demand resale color in the region, effectively masking road dust and reflecting the intense desert sun. For a 2025 model, this mileage is slightly above the typical annual average but remains well within the mechanical limits of its robust Volvo-derived powertrain. This is an ideal pick for buyers wanting luxury tech and all-wheel-drive capability without the high maintenance costs of traditional premium brands.

This Car vs Other 2025 Monjaros

While many 2025 models are just entering the used market with delivery mileage, this Monjaro offers a significant saving while remaining mechanically fresh. Its silver exterior is a strategic choice for the GCC, offering better heat rejection and higher resale liquidity compared to darker shades. The mileage suggests consistent highway use between emirates, which is often preferable to the wear of stop-start city traffic.

GF vs Lower Trims

The GF trim adds essential luxury features that GCC buyers prioritize, most notably the ventilated front seats which are vital for local summers. It upgrades the cabin with a 10-speaker premium sound system and the distinctive triple-screen interface that covers the entire dashboard. Additionally, the GF includes a Head-Up Display and a 360-degree camera system, features that are often only optional or unavailable on the GK trim.

Monjaro vs Segment Rivals

The Monjaro competes directly with the Toyota RAV4 and Kia Sportage but stands out with a much more advanced infotainment suite and a chassis co-developed with Volvo. Its 210 mm ground clearance gives it a slight edge over road-biased crossovers for light weekend desert trail excursions. The 2.0L Turbo engine provides 235 HP, offering more punch for highway overtaking than the naturally aspirated entries in this segment.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 8.5 L/100km, though this can rise to 11.3 L/100km in heavy GCC city traffic. Service intervals are recommended every 10,000 km, and Geely's expanding authorized network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures parts availability is no longer a concern. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it retains a higher percentage of its value compared to non-regional imports, benefitting from the remainder of its manufacturer warranty.

Performance & Capability

With an official 0-100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds, the Monjaro feels surprisingly agile for a mid-sized SUV. The intelligent 4WD system provides confident traction on gravel and wet surfaces, while the 8-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smooth highway cruising. Its ground clearance and approach angles are perfectly suited for the occasional wadi drive or reaching remote campsites.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a standout feature, headlined by premium leather seats with 3-speed ventilation that quickly counters extreme external heat. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated climate vents and generous legroom, making it a capable family car for long road trips across the GCC. Noise insulation is excellent, keeping the interior quiet even at highway speeds on textured road surfaces.

Safety

This GF trim comes equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist, which are highly effective for long desert highway drives. The 360-degree camera provides a virtual bird's-eye view, essential for navigating tight mall parking spaces. Standard safety features also include Blind Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Warning, and a full array of six airbags.

The bottom line

This Monjaro GF is the perfect match for a tech-focused family looking for a nearly-new SUV that handles the UAE's heat and highways with ease. It offers a premium driving experience and a high-spec interior that rivals luxury brands at a much smarter price point.
