Summary

This 2024 Jetour T2 LUX is a standout choice in the rapidly growing 'box-SUV' segment, offering a compelling blend of rugged styling and high-end cabin technology. With only 22,000 km, the mileage is exceptionally low for a GCC-based vehicle of its age, effectively offering a near-new experience for the second owner. The Black-on-Black configuration is a high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring stronger resale interest compared to more niche colors. While rivals often reserve their best tech for top-tier pricing, this T2 comes standard with premium features like a massive 15.6-inch screen and ventilated seats that are essential for the GCC climate. For a buyer wanting a modern, off-road capable daily driver with a presence that rivals far more expensive European icons, this T2 is the smart tactical play.

This Car vs Other 2024 Jetour T2s

At 22,000 km, this T2 sits significantly below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, making it a low-mileage example that has spent most of its life on well-maintained UAE highways. The Black exterior is one of the top three most searched colors in the Emirates, providing a distinct advantage for future resale value. Unlike high-utilization units often found in the market, this example shows minimal signs of heavy off-road wear, retaining its factory-fresh cabin feel.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim is a significant step up from the base Comfort level, adding high-value features that GCC buyers prioritize for long-distance comfort. It introduces the full panoramic sunroof and ventilated front seats, which are non-negotiable for Dubai's summer months. Additionally, you get the larger 20-inch alloy wheels and the advanced 15.6-inch infotainment display, providing a much more premium cabin atmosphere than the entry-level configurations.

Jetour T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 leads its segment rivals like the Tank 300 and Ford Bronco Sport in terms of sheer interior digital real estate and wheelbase-driven legroom. While rivals often use smaller 12-inch displays, the T2's tech-forward cabin feels a generation ahead for the price point. Its 2.0L turbocharged engine produces a robust 390 Nm of torque, ensuring effortless highway cruising across emirates even when fully loaded with family and gear.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 2.0T powertrain typically averages between 9.5L and 11.0L/100km, making it efficient for a vehicle with this much presence. Jetour has rapidly expanded its authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and professional maintenance are easily accessible. While Chinese brands face steeper initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2's high local demand and transferring regional warranty help stabilize its value at the three-year mark.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0L turbo engine delivers 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, paired with a smart BorgWarner XWD system that makes light-to-medium desert driving accessible for every driver. With a verified 700 mm wading depth and 220 mm of ground clearance, it is purpose-built to handle seasonal rains and soft sand tracks during weekend escapes. The X-Smart mode automatically adjusts torque distribution, allowing for a seamless transition from smooth tarmac to rugged gravel paths.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout is focused on space, featuring premium materials and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel. GCC ownership is improved by the high-performance air conditioning system and ventilated seating, ensuring the cabin stays cool even when parked in direct sun. The 12-speaker Sony audio system and acoustic glass provide a quiet, high-fidelity environment for long-distance desert highway drives.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a full ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree panoramic camera system that makes parking in tight city spots effortless. The vehicle is built on a high-strength steel cage body and includes front, side, and curtain airbags as standard. These active systems are particularly beneficial on high-speed UAE highways, providing peace of mind during long-distance travel.

The bottom line

For the UAE buyer who wants the rugged aesthetic of a classic off-roader with the tech and comfort of a modern luxury SUV, this low-mileage 2024 T2 LUX is an unbeatable value proposition.
