Summary

This 2024 Lexus LX600 Prestige offers the perfect balance of legendary reliability and modern flagship luxury. As a GCC-spec model in high-demand white, it represents one of the strongest resale opportunities in the regional market. With approximately 60,000 km, it has been utilized effectively for the long-distance highway commutes typical of UAE ownership while maintaining its pristine executive appeal. It stands out from rivals by offering genuine off-road hardware without sacrificing on-road refinement. For a buyer seeking a seven-seat powerhouse that holds its value better than almost anything else in its segment, this is a premier choice.

This Car vs Other 2024 LX600s

While many 2024 LX600s in the GCC are kept as secondary vehicles with very low mileage, this example has been driven roughly 30,000 km per year, which is typical for a primary executive vehicle in this region. The white exterior is the most sought-after color for the LX in the Middle East, ensuring significantly better heat management and higher demand when it comes time to resell.

PRESTIGE vs Lower Trims

The Prestige trim serves as a major step up in tech and convenience, standardizing the 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor which is essential for maneuvering this full-size SUV. Unlike base models, it includes premium interior finishes and the full Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 suite, offering a more complete luxury experience that GCC buyers prioritize.

LX600 vs Segment Rivals

The LX600 leads the Cadillac Escalade and BMW X7 when it comes to long-term durability and regional service support. Its body-on-frame construction, shared with the Land Cruiser 300, gives it superior off-road integrity that road-biased European rivals cannot match, while its 110-litre fuel tank provides the range needed for cross-country desert drives.

Running Costs & Resale

The LX600 is one of the slowest depreciating vehicles in the GCC, typically losing only 8-10% of its value annually compared to 15% or more for European luxury SUVs. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 12.1 L/100km on combined cycles, though highway cruising can be more efficient. With an extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and beyond, parts and maintenance are always readily available.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 produces a massive 650 Nm of torque, allowing for effortless highway overtaking and confident sand-dune climbing. It features a sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case for serious terrain. Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control are standard, making it one of the most capable luxury vehicles ever built for the GCC landscape.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a seven-seat sanctuary designed to handle 50°C summer heat with ease, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system. High-quality leather and wood accents define the interior, while the dual-touchscreen setup keeps navigation and vehicle vitals separate for easier use. Acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway travel between emirates.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes 10 airbags and the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, which features All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist for relaxed long-distance driving. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are particularly valuable on fast-moving GCC highways, while the 360-degree camera provides a 'see-through' view of the terrain for maximum confidence off-road.

The bottom line

For the executive who needs a bulletproof seven-seater that commands respect on the road and retains its value in the market, this white GCC-spec LX600 Prestige is the benchmark opportunity.
