Summary

This 2024 LX600 Prestige offers a compelling entry into the absolute tier of GCC luxury SUVs, combining legendary reliability with the modern twin-turbo V6 powertrain. With 40,000 km on the clock, it sits comfortably within the expected usage range for a high-end cruiser in this region, where long-distance travel is the norm. The White exterior is widely regarded as the most practical and high-demand choice for the UAE climate, ensuring excellent heat reflection and the strongest possible resale position. As a GCC-spec model, it benefits from a cooling system and regional warranty support specifically engineered for extreme desert conditions. For the buyer seeking the presence and capability of a flagship Lexus without the unnecessary complexity of the highest trims, this Prestige model is a sharp market opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2024 LX600s

With 40,000 km, this LX600 reflects typical annual usage for a GCC executive vehicle, which often covers significant highway distances between emirates. The White paint is a strategic advantage in this market, consistently commanding faster sales and higher residual values compared to darker palettes. Choosing a GCC-spec 2024 model ensures the car is fully optimized for local fuel grades and high-ambient temperatures.

PRESTIGE vs Lower Trims

The Prestige trim serves as a high-value entry point, providing essential Lexus luxuries like a 12.3-inch dual-screen infotainment system and three-zone climate control. While it omits the rear entertainment screens found in Signature grades, it retains the critical performance hardware including the full Multi-Terrain Select system and the 409 hp twin-turbo engine. It offers the same fundamental mechanical durability and prestige as higher trims while maintaining a more focused, driver-oriented cabin.

LX600 vs Segment Rivals

The LX600 leads rivals like the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover in long-term durability and authorized service accessibility across the entire GCC. Its unique 110-litre dual-tank system provides a significant range advantage for trans-border drives compared to European competitors. Furthermore, its body-on-frame construction offers genuine off-road robustness that monocoque luxury SUVs in this segment cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 12.1L/100km on combined cycles, though GCC city traffic may see figures closer to 15L/100km. Service intervals are generally set at 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the Middle East. The LX600 maintains one of the lowest depreciation rates in the luxury segment, typically retaining over 80% of its value after three years in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 produces a robust 409 hp and 650 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 7 seconds. This power is managed by a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time all-wheel-drive system with a low-range transfer case for serious desert excursions. The GA-F platform provides a 20% increase in rigidity over the previous generation, resulting in vastly improved highway stability and towing confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a seven-seat layout with leather upholstery and ventilated front seats as standard, a necessity for the GCC summer. Lexus Climate Concierge manages the three-zone system to ensure rapid cabin pulldown even in temperatures exceeding 45°C. The dual-screen interface allows you to manage navigation on the upper 12.3-inch display while adjusting vehicle settings on the 7-inch lower screen without interruption.

Safety

The LX600 comes equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, including Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection and Lane Tracing Assist. Standard Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways in the UAE and KSA. Ten SRS airbags and a 360-degree camera system provide comprehensive protection and visibility in both tight urban parking and complex off-road terrain.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a GCC buyer who prioritizes the mechanical excellence and resale security of a Lexus flagship in the market's most desirable color. It offers the perfect balance of modern twin-turbo performance and everyday luxury without the premium price tag of a Signature trim.
