Summary

This 2024 Maserati Grecale Trofeo represents a rare opportunity to own the pinnacle of Italian performance SUVs with remarkably low mileage for the GCC market. Draped in a high-resale black finish, it stands out from the German competition by utilizing the Nettuno V6 engine architecture derived directly from the MC20 supercar. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully optimized for the region’s extreme temperatures and long-distance highway cruising between emirates. This listing is particularly strong as it offers the range-topping performance of the Trofeo trim in nearly new condition, ensuring the mechanical integrity and presence expected of a flagship Trident-badged SUV.

This Car vs Other 2024 Grecale Trofeos

With just over 16,800 km, this Grecale Trofeo sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 km, making it a high-value entry in the pre-owned market. The black exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring stronger value retention than brighter or niche paint options. It presents a mechanical advantage for buyers seeking a performance vehicle that has not yet reached its major service milestones.

TROFEO vs Lower Trims

The Trofeo is a significant leap over the GT and Modena trims, replacing the 4-cylinder hybrid system with the 523 hp Nettuno V6. It adds essential GCC-relevant hardware like a six-level adaptive air suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential for superior high-speed stability. Inside, the Trofeo upgrades to a tri-zone climate control system and premium carbon fiber trim, which are highly valued in the local secondary market.

Grecale vs Segment Rivals

The Grecale Trofeo competes directly with the Porsche Macan GTS and BMW X3 M, offering a larger interior footprint and more exclusive engine provenance. While rivals often feel clinically German, the Maserati leads with its emotive exhaust note and standard air suspension, which provides a more compliant ride on varied UAE road surfaces. Its performance metrics place it closer to the larger Cayenne class while maintaining the agility of a compact crossover.

Running Costs & Resale

GCC-spec Maseratis benefit from an extensive authorized service network through major distributors like Al Tayer Motors and Fast Auto Technic, with standard service intervals every 15,000 km or 12 months. Real-world fuel consumption for the Nettuno V6 typically averages 11.6 L/100 km, though stop-start city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh will see this rise. Depreciation for Italian luxury SUVs in the GCC typically ranges between 15-18% annually, but the Trofeo trim tends to find buyers faster due to its flagship status.

Performance & Capability

The 523 hp output allows for effortless highway overtaking and a blistering 0-100 km/h sprint of 3.8 seconds, rivaling many dedicated sports cars. The standard Corsa mode sharpens gear changes and throttle response, perfect for weekend drives to Jebel Jais or the Yas Marina circuit. Its advanced all-wheel-drive system and air suspension ensure the car remains composed during high-speed cross-border drives, even in peak summer heat.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of Italian craftsmanship, featuring a 12.3-inch digital cockpit and a 14-speaker Sonus Faber audio system as standard. For the GCC climate, the tri-zone automatic climate control and leather-wrapped dashboard ensure a premium, well-insulated environment that stays cool under the sun. The 535-litre boot space is surprisingly generous for the segment, making it a practical choice for small families or golf enthusiasts.

Safety

Safety is managed by a full ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, which is indispensable for long-distance highway travel. Standard blind-spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera system assist with navigating dense city traffic and tight parking in malls. The vehicle also features advanced electronic stability control tuned to maintain grip on the occasional sand-blown surfaces found on regional roads.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who requires the utility of an SUV but refuses to sacrifice the soul of a supercar, this low-mileage Grecale Trofeo is the sharpest Italian alternative to the mainstream German options.
