Summary

This 2024 Maserati Grecale in Modena trim offers a compelling alternative to common German rivals, blending Italian flair with modern mild-hybrid efficiency. With 19,000 km, the mileage is slightly below the GCC annual average, making it an attractive choice for those seeking a near-new experience. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, ensuring better thermal management in summer and maintaining the strongest possible resale value. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it comes with the regional cooling and warranty peace of mind essential for ownership in the Emirates. This SUV stands out by offering more rear legroom and a more distinctive presence than its closest competitors.

This Car vs Other 2024 Maserati Grecales

With just 19,000 km on the odometer, this Grecale has seen lighter use than the typical 20,000–25,000 km yearly average in the UAE. The white finish is arguably the most sensible choice for the GCC market, offering a significant advantage in both heat reflection and long-term resale demand. Being a 2024 model, it represents the latest in Maserati's digital architecture, ensuring the software and cabin tech remain current for years to come.

MODENA vs Lower Trims

The Modena trim is the sweet spot of the range, offering a meaningful performance boost to 330 hp over the base GT. It adds essential GCC luxury features as standard, including 20-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and an upgraded limited-slip differential for sharper handling. Inside, you benefit from premium wood finishes and adaptive sport-tuned suspension that isn't standard on the entry-level models.

Grecale vs Segment Rivals

The Grecale competes directly with the Porsche Macan and BMW X3, yet leads both in rear seat roominess and boot capacity. Its 2,901mm wheelbase provides genuine adult-sized comfort in the back, a common pain point in this segment. Furthermore, the standard 14-speaker Sonus Faber audio system offers a higher level of acoustic luxury than the base systems found in its German counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the mild-hybrid powertrain averages around 9.0 L/100km, which is efficient for a performance SUV in GCC highway conditions. Maserati's service network is well-established across the UAE via Al Tayer Motors, with recommended intervals every 15,000 km or 12 months. While European luxury SUVs face higher depreciation than Japanese brands, the Modena trim holds its value well in the local market due to its high demand and desirable specification.

Performance & Capability

The 330 hp engine enables a 0-100 km/h sprint of 5.3 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. The all-wheel-drive system is rear-biased to maintain a sporty feel while ensuring stability during sudden desert rain or on sandy surface transitions. With multiple drive modes including 'GT' and 'Sport', you can instantly stiffen the adaptive dampers to suit spirited drives through Jebel Jais or soften them for city commuting.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 12.3-inch digital display and a secondary 8.8-inch comfort screen for climate and seat controls. Designed for the GCC heat, the air conditioning system is robust and includes dedicated rear vents to keep all five passengers comfortable during peak summer. The acoustic glass and high-quality leather upholstery ensure the interior remains a quiet, premium sanctuary even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

This Modena trim comes standard with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go—a lifesaver in Dubai-Sharjah traffic. It also features Blind Spot Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, which are essential for navigating multi-lane highways. The vehicle is equipped with a full array of front, side, and curtain airbags, alongside advanced forward collision mitigation systems.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the practicality of a daily SUV without sacrificing the prestige and soul of an Italian marque, this low-mileage Grecale Modena is a sophisticated and market-correct opportunity.
