Summary

This 2024 C300 represents the latest generation of the world's favorite luxury sedan, offering a perfect entry point into the Mercedes-Benz ecosystem. With its modern black exterior and low mileage for its age, it provides a contemporary executive feel that rivals struggle to match in interior quality. The mild-hybrid powertrain ensures smooth city driving and efficient highway cruising across the Emirates. This specific American-spec example brings premium tech features and a refined aesthetic to the local market at a competitive value proposition. It is an ideal choice for professionals seeking a sophisticated daily driver that balances prestige with manageable running costs.

This Car vs Other 2024 C300s

At 25,885 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical 40,000–50,000 km range often seen on two-year-old executive sedans in the GCC. The obsidian-style black finish is a top-tier choice for resale in this region, ensuring high demand when it is time to upgrade. Its status as an American-spec car allows for a more accessible entry into the newest W206 generation compared to local dealer-sourced units.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The C300 acts as the performance lead for the non-AMG C-Class range, providing significantly more punch than the C200. It comes standard with the impressive 11.9-inch portrait-style touchscreen and the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster that defines the modern Mercedes cabin. Unlike lower-tier models, the C300 includes standard power-adjustable heated front seats with memory and a more robust safety suite.

C300 vs Segment Rivals

The C300 consistently leads the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 when it comes to cabin technology and sheer 'mini-S-Class' luxury. While the BMW focuses on a firmer, sporty ride, the C300 prioritizes isolation and a smooth highway experience suited for long commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its 455-litre boot offers competitive practical space for weekend trips or airport runs.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid setup averages around 6.6L/100km on the highway, making it one of the most efficient petrol sedans in its class. In the GCC market, Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network, though buyers of American-spec models should utilize specialized European service centers for routine maintenance. Expect a depreciation rate of approximately 12–15% annually, which is standard for premium European sedans in the UAE.

Performance & Capability

The 258 hp turbocharged engine is supplemented by an integrated starter-generator that adds an extra 20 hp for seamless overtaking on fast-moving highways. With a top speed of 250 km/h and a quick 6.0-second sprint to 100 km/h, it offers more than enough performance for any regional road condition. The rear-wheel-drive layout provides the classic, balanced handling characteristics that executive drivers expect.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a showcase of the latest MBUX infotainment, featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Dual-zone climate control ensures the cabin remains cool during the peak summer months, and the acoustic insulation provides a quiet sanctuary from city noise. The five-seat layout is finished in high-quality MB-Tex, which is known for its durability and resistance to wear in high-temperature environments.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite including Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, and the PRE-SAFE system which prepares the cabin for a potential impact. Standard blind-spot monitoring is particularly helpful for navigating multi-lane highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. This model also features a high-resolution rearview camera and multiple airbags as standard, ensuring a high safety rating across global testing bodies.

The bottom line

This 2024 C300 is the perfect opportunity for a buyer who wants the very latest Mercedes-Benz design and tech at a price point that makes sense in the current UAE used market.
