Summary

This 2024 C300 represents a modern entry into the executive sedan segment, offering a balance of performance and efficiency that fits well within the UAE's fast-paced lifestyle. With its black exterior, it holds one of the strongest resale colors in the GCC market, ensuring better value retention when it's time to upgrade. The American spec provides a high level of interior tech and safety at a competitive price point compared to local equivalents. While designed for diverse climates, this two-year-old sedan is perfectly suited for daily commutes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It stands out by borrowing significant design and technology cues from the flagship S-Class, providing a premium experience that rivals struggle to match.

This Car vs Other 2024 C300s

At 25,885 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, making it a low-mileage example for a two-year-old car. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the local market, offering a distinct advantage for future resale value. Buyers will find this to be a mechanically fresh option compared to higher-mileage alternatives often found in the secondary market.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The C300 comes standard with the sophisticated 11.9-inch portrait MBUX touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, features often reserved for higher trims in competing models. Unlike lower-powered variants, this trim includes the more robust 2.0L turbocharged engine and standard heated front seats with memory settings. It bridges the gap between basic commuters and full luxury cruisers by including wireless smartphone integration and ambient lighting as standard.

C300 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4, the C300 leads with its 'Baby S-Class' interior aesthetic and class-leading screen real estate. It offers a more comfort-oriented ride quality that is better suited for long GCC highway stretches than the firmer suspension setups of its German rivals. The 66-litre fuel tank provides a generous range, reducing the frequency of stops during cross-border drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 8.8 L/100km, which is efficient for GCC city traffic thanks to the mild-hybrid assistance. As an American spec vehicle, it typically enters the market at a lower initial cost but should be serviced at specialized centers that handle international imports, as the local agency warranty may not apply. Mercedes-Benz remains a prestige brand in the region with a broad network of independent specialists across the UAE and Saudi Arabia to keep maintenance manageable.

Performance & Capability

With a 0–100 km/h time of 6.0 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h, the C300 offers confident highway overtaking for the UAE's 140 km/h zones. The rear-wheel-drive configuration provides a classic, balanced driving feel, while the nine-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth cruising at high speeds. The mild-hybrid system adds an extra 20 hp boost during initial acceleration, making city stop-start driving feel effortless.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a highlight for GCC summers, featuring dual-zone automatic climate control and an advanced MBUX system that can be operated via voice commands. The 357-litre boot space is sufficient for executive use or weekend shopping trips across the border. High-quality insulation helps keep the interior cool and quiet, even during the peak heat of the Gulf summer months.

Safety

Standard safety features include Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and a comprehensive airbag system including a specialized center airbag. These systems are particularly valuable for navigating the multi-lane, high-speed highways common in the GCC. The car also features Attention Assist, which monitors for driver fatigue during long desert drives between major cities.

The bottom line

This low-mileage C300 is the ideal choice for an executive or small family looking for flagship luxury tech without the flagship price tag. Its strong color choice and modern interior make it a standout opportunity in the current used market.
