• 5-Star NCAP safety rating
• Lowest depreciation in class

Summary

This 2024 Nissan Pathfinder SV represents a unique opportunity to own a virtually new vehicle with delivery mileage, avoiding the steep initial depreciation typically found on the showroom floor. As a GCC-spec model finished in black, it occupies the most desirable niche for resale value in the Middle East, where this color and regional configuration are highly sought after. The 3.5L V6 provides a tried-and-tested balance of power and reliability that has made this model a staple on regional highways. While many rivals are moving toward complex small-displacement turbocharged engines, this naturally aspirated unit offers the mechanical simplicity that translates to long-term durability in extreme heat. Choosing the SV trim ensures you receive the essential driver assistance technologies that make daily commuting in the UAE significantly safer and more relaxing. For a buyer looking for a modern, tech-forward family SUV that feels brand new but offers a smarter entry point than a first-hand purchase, this listing is exceptionally well-positioned.

This Car vs Other 2024 Pathfinders

With only 50 km on the odometer, this vehicle is effectively in showroom condition, standing out significantly from other 2024 models that may have already accumulated 15,000 to 25,000 km in their first year of GCC service. In a market where high-mileage examples are common due to the long distances between emirates, finding a vehicle with delivery mileage provides a major advantage in terms of mechanical longevity and warranty preservation. The black exterior is a primary choice for professional and family buyers in the region, ensuring that this car will remain easier to sell than those in niche or lighter colors. This specific unit allows a buyer to bypass the waiting lists often found at dealerships while still securing a vehicle that has not yet experienced the wear of a daily commute. It represents the pinnacle of the used market—a car that is 'used' only by registration status, not by physical condition.

SV vs Lower Trims

Stepping up to the SV trim from the base S model introduces a suite of features that are specifically valued by GCC drivers for both comfort and safety. You gain the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite, which includes features like ProPILOT Assist—a game-changer for the long, straight highway stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The SV also typically adds remote engine start, an essential feature for cooling the cabin to a comfortable temperature before you enter during the intense summer months. Inside, the infotainment experience is upgraded with a larger touchscreen and better smartphone integration, catering to the tech-heavy lifestyle of modern regional drivers. Furthermore, the inclusion of an 8-way power driver's seat and upgraded interior materials provides a more premium feel that bridges the gap between a utility vehicle and a luxury cruiser. These additions aren't just about luxury; they directly impact the daily usability and the eventual resale appeal of the car in a competitive market.

Pathfinder vs Segment Rivals

The Nissan Pathfinder competes directly with the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and Ford Explorer, but it holds several distinct advantages for the Middle Eastern buyer. Unlike the Highlander which often utilizes a hybrid setup, the Pathfinder's 3.5L V6 offers a traditional driving feel and proven cooling performance that has been optimized for the region over decades. It provides a more modern and rugged design language compared to the Honda Pilot, making it a favorite for those who want a vehicle that looks as capable as it feels. The 9-speed automatic transmission is a significant upgrade over the CVTs found in previous generations and some competitors, offering a more direct and engaging response during highway overtaking. Additionally, Nissan's extensive service network in the UAE and Saudi Arabia is arguably more comprehensive than Ford's, ensuring that parts and expert technicians are never far away. This model strikes the perfect balance between Japanese reliability and the latest in automotive technology.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning a Nissan in the GCC is a masterclass in cost-efficiency, as the brand benefits from one of the most robust supply chains in the region. Fuel consumption for the 3.5L V6 is competitive for its class, averaging around 10.5 to 11.0 L/100km in mixed driving conditions, which is impressive given the vehicle's size and the power available. Routine service intervals are standard at 10,000 km, and because this is a GCC-spec vehicle, it is fully compatible with all authorized Nissan service centers across the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Historically, the Pathfinder holds its value exceptionally well, with a depreciation curve that is much shallower than its American or European counterparts, typically retaining up to 80% of its value after three years. The parts availability is unparalleled, meaning even out-of-warranty repairs are more affordable than most rivals. For the long-term owner, this represents a low-risk investment with predictable overheads.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5L 6-cylinder engine is the heart of this SUV, delivering smooth and linear power that is perfectly suited for the fast-paced traffic flow of regional highways. While this specific SV trim is a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) configuration, it is optimized for fuel efficiency and urban maneuvering, making it an ideal choice for families who prioritize school runs and city commuting over dune bashing. The 9-speed automatic transmission ensures that the engine stays in its power band for effortless overtaking at 120 km/h, while also maintaining low RPMs for a quiet cabin experience. With a respectable towing capacity and ample ground clearance, it easily handles gravel tracks and the varied road surfaces found in newer suburban developments. The drive modes allow the driver to tailor the throttle response and steering weight, providing a sense of confidence whether you are navigating a tight parking garage or cruising across the border on a long road trip. Performance here is defined by consistency and ease of use rather than raw off-road aggression.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Pathfinder SV is designed to be a sanctuary from the external heat, featuring a high-capacity air conditioning system that is renowned for its ability to chill the cabin rapidly even in 45°C weather. This configuration features a spacious 4-seat layout that emphasizes individual passenger comfort and massive cargo flexibility, perfect for those who prioritize legroom and luggage space over maximum occupancy. The cabin is remarkably quiet, thanks to extensive acoustic glass and sound-deadening materials that filter out the drone of highway wind and road noise. High-quality soft-touch materials are used throughout the touchpoints, and the ergonomic layout of the dashboard ensures everything the driver needs is within easy reach. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated climate controls and vents, ensuring that everyone remains comfortable regardless of the sun's intensity. The large windows and elevated seating position provide excellent visibility, making long journeys feel less fatiguing for both the driver and the passengers.

Safety

Safety is a hallmark of the 2024 SV trim, which comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, providing a comprehensive protective bubble around the vehicle. This includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, which is vital in the unpredictable stop-start traffic of major GCC cities. Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are particularly useful on multi-lane highways like Sheikh Zayed Road, where fast-moving vehicles can appear suddenly in your periphery. The car also features Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist, ensuring safety is maintained during nocturnal desert drives where visibility can be a challenge. With a 5-star NCAP safety rating, the Pathfinder is built with high-strength steel and a sophisticated airbag system that provides peace of mind for family-oriented buyers. Unlike some competitors that reserve these features for the highest 'Platinum' trims, Nissan has made them standard here, ensuring you don't have to pay a premium for your family's security.

The bottom line

This is the perfect choice for a savvy buyer who wants a brand-new 2024 Nissan Pathfinder experience without the new-car price tag. Given its GCC specs, delivery mileage, and high-demand black finish, it represents one of the safest and most logical purchases currently available in the regional SUV market.
