Summary

This 2024 Turbo GT represents the absolute peak of the Cayenne family, offering track-bred performance that few SUVs in the GCC can match. With mileage that reflects active enjoyment, it remains a highly desirable specimen of the facelifted generation, finished in a resale-friendly Grey that stands up well to the local sun. Unlike the hybrid variants, this is a pure combustion powerhouse designed for those who value mechanical engagement and blistering highway speed. It stands out in the UAE market as the most focused driver’s SUV Porsche has ever built, perfectly suited for the region's high-speed arterial roads and weekend getaways. Owning a Turbo GT in the GCC means having supercar acceleration with the cooling and comfort required for a Dubai summer.

This Car vs Other 2024 Cayenne Turbo GTs

With 37,196 km on the clock, this Turbo GT has been driven more than the typical 'garage queen,' yet it falls within the expected annual range for a primary vehicle in the UAE. The Grey exterior is a strategic choice for the GCC, offering better heat management and stronger resale value than bolder, more niche colors. It offers a rare opportunity to acquire the current facelifted model without the initial depreciation hit of a showroom-fresh unit.

Turbo GT vs Lower Trims

The Turbo GT sits above the Turbo E-Hybrid in terms of raw driving dynamics, featuring a specialized titanium exhaust system and a carbon-fiber roof as standard. It adds rear-axle steering and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with yellow calipers, features that are often expensive options on lower trims. Inside, you get the GT-specific Alcantara-heavy cabin and a lower, stiffer air suspension tune that transforms the handling profile.

Cayenne vs Segment Rivals

The Turbo GT directly challenges the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX707, often leading in technical precision and daily usability. In the GCC, its 90-litre fuel tank provides a significant advantage for long-distance cruising between cities compared to more thirsty rivals. Porsche’s advanced thermal management system is specifically tuned to maintain peak performance even during the peak summer temperatures of the Gulf.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 is optimized for high-octane Super 98 fuel, common across UAE filling stations. Official service intervals are set at 15,000 km or 12 months, and Porsche's extensive authorized network across the GCC ensures reliable maintenance from Dubai to Riyadh. While the Turbo GT sits at a high price point, it typically retains a higher percentage of its value than standard Cayenne models due to its limited production nature and status as the flagship performance variant.

Performance & Capability

A top speed of 305 km/h makes this one of the fastest production SUVs in the world, a fact felt instantly through the 850 Nm of torque available from low RPM. The standard adaptive air suspension sits 15mm lower than other models, providing exceptional stability during high-speed highway lane changes. While it maintains a 190mm ground clearance for light gravel paths, its true capability lies in its Nürburgring-tuned chassis, offering flat cornering and immense grip.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat environment focused on the driver, featuring 18-way adaptive sport seats that provide excellent ventilation and support during long desert drives. The 2024 facelift introduces the curved 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen with a 15-watt cooled wireless charging pad. Acoustic glass and high-grade insulation ensure the cabin remains a quiet, cool sanctuary even when the outside temperature exceeds 45°C.

Safety

This Turbo GT comes equipped with Porsche’s full suite of driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist, which are invaluable on the E11 highway. The standard carbon-ceramic brakes provide fade-free stopping power that is essential for a vehicle of this weight and performance. Blind-spot monitoring and a high-resolution 360-degree camera system ensure safety in dense urban traffic and tight parking environments across the region.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who demands the fastest, most precise SUV available, this GCC-spec 2024 Turbo GT is a compelling package that balances high performance with local market practicality.
