Summary

This 2024 Porsche Macan GTS represents the final evolution of the combustion-powered Macan, offering a level of driving precision that rivals struggle to match. With only 24,000 km, this European-spec example sits well below the typical annual mileage for the GCC, making it a fresh alternative to higher-mileage local listings. The GTS trim remains the most sought-after variant in the UAE used market for its perfect balance of daily usability and track-ready performance. Finished in black, it benefits from strong resale liquidity in a region that prioritizes classic, high-demand colors. For a buyer looking for the sharpest-handling SUV in its class with nearly new mechanical integrity, this is a standout opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2024 Macans

With 24,000 km on the odometer, this Macan has been driven significantly less than the 25,000 km annual average typical for the GCC. While many 2024 models are already approaching their first major service milestones, this example offers a lower-wear entry point into Porsche ownership. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring it remains easier to sell or trade in compared to niche colors.

GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS adds significant hardware over the Macan S, most notably the specialized air suspension that sits 10mm lower and the standard Sport Exhaust system for a more visceral engine note. You also get the upgraded Surface Coated Brakes (PSCB) with red calipers and 21-inch RS Spyder design wheels as standard. Inside, the GTS-specific Sport seats and brushed aluminum trim provide a cockpit feel that the base and S trims lack.

Macan vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X3 M and Mercedes-AMG GLC 63, the Macan GTS is widely regarded as the driver's choice for its superior steering feedback and PDK dual-clutch transmission. While the X3 M might offer more raw power, the Macan leads in ride refinement and cabin ergonomics, making it much better suited for the daily Dubai-Abu Dhabi commute. Its compact footprint also makes it more manageable in tight city parking compared to the bulkier GLC.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the GTS averages around 12.2 L/100km, though this will increase in heavy stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. As a European-spec vehicle, buyers should note that authorized GCC dealers may require a one-time regionalization fee to activate local warranty or service contracts. Porsche maintains one of the strongest resale values for performance SUVs in the UAE, typically depreciating less than its Italian or British rivals over a three-year period.

Performance & Capability

The 434 hp twin-turbo V6 provides effortless overtaking power on high-speed desert highways, reaching 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The standard active air suspension allows the driver to adjust ground clearance, providing extra peace of mind for weekend trips to light gravel paths or sandy beach approaches. The 7-speed PDK transmission is lightning-fast, ensuring the car always feels responsive whether you are navigating city traffic or open roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 5-seat environment designed for driver focus, featuring a 10.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay. Three-zone climate control is standard, which is vital for maintaining comfort during peak GCC summer months, ensuring rear passengers stay cool. Despite its performance focus, the 458-litre boot provides enough practical space for family grocery runs or weekend getaway luggage.

Safety

This Macan GTS comes equipped with Porsche's full suite of safety tech, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning, which are essential for long-distance safety on the E11. Forward Collision Mitigation and front/rear parking sensors with a reversing camera provide added security in congested urban areas. The sophisticated All-Wheel Drive system ensures maximum grip during the rare but hazardous rain-slicked road conditions seen in the region.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who wants the absolute best-handling SUV on the market, this low-mileage GTS offers the peak of Porsche's petrol engineering in a highly resale-friendly specification.
