Tesla Cybertruck FOUNDATION SERIES AWD

Highlights

• 547 km electric range (EPA)
• 0–100 km/h in 4.3 seconds
• 4,990 kg braked towing capacity

Summary

This 2024 Foundation Series AWD offers a rare chance to own Tesla's engineering flagship with just 27,595 km, significantly lower than the GCC annual average for high-use pickups. The Foundation Series trim is highly coveted in the local market, adding premium vegan leather and laser-etched branding that enhances its long-term resale appeal compared to standard models. Finished in black, it avoids the common stainless-steel look, making it a standout executive choice on UAE roads. With 600 hp and advanced steer-by-wire technology, it provides an unparalleled driving experience for both city commuting and weekend escapes across the Emirates. For any buyer looking to transition to electric without sacrificing the utility of a heavy-duty truck, this specific listing represents one of the most technologically advanced vehicles currently available in the region.

This Car vs Other 2024 Cybertrucks

With 27,595 km on the clock, this vehicle sits comfortably below the typical 25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC for utility-focused vehicles, indicating careful use since its late-2023 release. While most Cybertrucks in the UAE are seen in raw stainless steel, the black finish on this unit adds a significant layer of exclusivity and helps maintain its premium standing in the used market. It has clearly been utilized as a lifestyle vehicle rather than a worksite tool, preserving the integrity of its exterior and cabin.

FOUNDATION SERIES AWD vs Lower Trims

The Foundation Series is a limited launch edition that commands a premium in the GCC for its comprehensive equipment list, including Full Self-Driving (Supervised) capability and a high-fidelity 15-speaker audio system. Unlike standard AWD models, this trim adds laser-etched 'Foundation' badging, unique interior graphics, and premium off-road tires that are better suited for varied regional terrains. It also includes the PowerShare home backup hardware, a significant advantage for tech-forward homeowners in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Cybertruck vs Segment Rivals

When compared to traditional V8 workhorses like the Ford F-150 Lightning or the GMC Hummer EV, the Cybertruck leads with its unique 800V architecture, allowing for significantly faster charging at local DEWA or Supercharger stations. Its steer-by-wire system and rear-wheel steering provide a turning circle tighter than most mid-sized SUVs, making it far easier to maneuver in tight Dubai parking than a Silverado or Ram. The ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless-steel exoskeleton also offers a level of durability against sand and gravel that no painted rival can match.

Running Costs & Resale

Operating this electric truck in the GCC offers massive savings over petrol-guzzling V8 rivals, especially when utilizing the expanding public fast-charging networks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While American spec vehicles typically see different depreciation curves, the 'Foundation Series' status acts as a value anchor, keeping demand high among collectors and early adopters. Authorized service support for Tesla is well-established in major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring parts and technical updates are readily accessible. Resale remains exceptionally strong due to the model's high visibility and the limited number of Foundation Series units currently in the region.

Performance & Capability

The Cybertruck AWD delivers 600 hp and a staggering 1,000 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.3 seconds that rivals many sports cars. Its adaptive air suspension provides up to 406 mm of ground clearance, allowing it to transition from smooth highway cruising on Sheikh Zayed Road to rugged desert trails with ease. The truck is also equipped with a specialized 'Wade Mode' that pressurizes the battery pack, providing approximately 815 mm of water-wading depth for handling unexpected weather conditions. With a 4,990 kg towing capacity, it effortlessly manages heavy trailers or leisure boats for weekend trips to Fujairah.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a minimalist tech hub featuring a massive 18.5-inch central touchscreen and a secondary 9.4-inch screen for rear passengers to manage their own climate and entertainment. The Foundation Series vegan leather seats are notably softer than standard versions, providing cooled comfort during the peak GCC summer months. Acoustic glass ensures the cabin remains whisper-quiet even at high speeds, while the expansive panoramic glass roof is treated to reflect UV rays and heat. Ample storage is found in the 'frunk' and under-bed gear locker, providing secure space for equipment away from the elements.

Safety

Safety is paramount with the Cybertruck's structural skin and shatter-resistant Armor Glass providing exceptional occupant protection. This trim features Tesla's full suite of active safety technologies, including Collision Avoidance, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Lane Departure Avoidance, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways. The steer-by-wire system intelligently adjusts steering ratios based on speed, providing high-speed stability and low-speed agility, while a 360-degree camera system ensures total visibility of the vehicle’s large footprint.

The bottom line

For the GCC buyer who wants the most recognizable vehicle on the road without the wait for a new order, this low-mileage Foundation Series Cybertruck is a future-proof investment in both technology and style.
