Summary

This 2025 BMW 740i M Sport is a rare find in the UAE market, offered with delivery mileage that essentially makes it a brand-new vehicle without the initial showroom wait. The Black exterior is the most sought-after color for executive sedans in the GCC, ensuring maximum presence and superior resale liquidity. As an M Sport trim, it balances the 7 Series' legendary rear-seat luxury with a sharper, more aggressive aesthetic that stands out in Dubai's elite traffic. For a buyer looking to step into the current G70 generation flagship immediately, this European-spec sedan offers the perfect blend of 375 hp performance and modern digital sophistication.

This Car vs Other 2025 740is

With just 51 km on the odometer, this 740i sits significantly below the average annual GCC mileage of 20,000 km, presenting a 'like-new' mechanical opportunity. The European specification offers a high level of standard equipment often prioritized by tech-focused buyers, while the Black finish remains the top-tier choice for value retention in the local market. Choosing this specific unit allows you to bypass the typical depreciation curve of a first-owner vehicle while enjoying a flawless, unused interior.

M SPORT vs Lower Trims

The M Sport trim transforms the 740i with an aerodynamic body kit, Shadowline exterior accents, and 20-inch M-specific wheels that provide a much more commanding stance than the base Excellence trim. Inside, it adds the M leather steering wheel and unique interior trim finishes that enhance the driver-centric feel. Critically for the GCC, this trim includes the upgraded M Sport braking system, offering more consistent stopping power during high-speed highway commutes in summer temperatures.

740i vs Segment Rivals

The 740i leads rivals like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8 with its massive 540-litre boot, providing superior practicality for airport runs or weekend travel between Emirates. Its turbocharged inline-six is widely regarded as the smoothest in the segment, offering a more engaging drive than the Lexus LS while maintaining world-class cabin quietness. The BMW Curved Display and iDrive 8.5 system provide a more intuitive, futuristic interface than the cabin tech found in the Genesis G90.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this mild-hybrid powertrain averages between 7.0 and 8.0 L/100km on the highway, making it an efficient choice for long-distance drives across the GCC. BMW's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring specialized care is always accessible. While luxury flagships traditionally see higher initial depreciation, the M Sport package and Black-on-Black configuration help this model retain its value better than base-spec European competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine delivers 375 hp, propelling this executive sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 5.4 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive setup paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission ensures effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway. Standard adaptive air suspension with dynamic dampers allows the car to glide over road imperfections while staying remarkably composed during high-speed cornering.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of tech and comfort, featuring the BMW Curved Display with a 14.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital cluster as standard. For the GCC climate, the multi-zone automatic climate control and advanced solar-reflective glass work together to keep the interior cool even in peak summer heat. The Veganza leather upholstery and ambient lighting, including the Panoramic Sky Lounge, create an unmatched executive atmosphere for all five passengers.

Safety

Safety is paramount with a full suite of ADAS features including Active Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Frontal Collision Warning standard on this trim. The 360-degree camera system and Parking Assistant Professional are invaluable for navigating tight urban parking in major GCC cities. Additionally, the adaptive LED headlights provide exceptional visibility for night driving on unlit desert highway stretches.

The bottom line

For the executive who demands the latest in BMW flagship technology without the wait, this delivery-mileage M Sport is the premier choice for style and immediate availability.
