Summary

This 2025 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max Comfort offers a rare combination of 197 horsepower and all-wheel-drive capability in the compact SUV segment. At just one year old, it presents a modern alternative to established rivals, featuring the updated 'Max' styling and a tech-heavy cabin that feels more premium than its price point suggests. The Green exterior is a distinctive choice that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, while the GCC specification ensures the cooling and mechanicals are optimized for local heat. For a buyer seeking the latest technology and a punchy turbocharged engine with the added safety of AWD, this is a highly competitive opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2025 Tiggo 7 Pro Maxs

With 51,620 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting regular highway use which is often better for mechanical health than short city trips. While the mileage is higher than average for a one-year-old car, the 2025 model year ensures it retains the latest safety features and interior design. The unique Green finish offers a refreshing change from the standard palette while remaining a sophisticated choice for future resale.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim on the Tiggo 7 Pro Max acts as a high-value entry point that still includes features GCC buyers prioritize, such as the 360-degree camera for effortless parking and the impressive dual 12.3-inch screens. While higher trims add a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats, the Comfort trim retains the same powerful 1.6TGDI engine and advanced All-Wheel Drive system. It provides the essential tech-focused experience and turbocharged performance without the premium cost of the Luxury or Flagship versions.

Tiggo 7 Pro Max vs Segment Rivals

The Tiggo 7 Pro Max competes directly with the Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson, but distinguishes itself by offering a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine as standard where rivals often start with less powerful naturally aspirated units. Its integrated dual-screen cockpit is inspired by luxury European layouts, providing a more modern interface than many established competitors. Additionally, the inclusion of a comprehensive ADAS suite and 360-degree camera as standard equipment offers superior value in the GCC crossover market.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6TGDI AWD powertrain averages approximately 7.8 L/100km on the highway, though this will increase in stop-start Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Chery has rapidly expanded its authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability and professional maintenance are easily accessible. While Chinese brands typically experience higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max's strong feature list helps it maintain a solid 3-year value retention in the regional used market.

Performance & Capability

The standout 197 hp output and 290 Nm of torque deliver a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 8.3 seconds, making highway overtaking effortless across the Emirates. The BorgWarner-sourced All-Wheel Drive system provides six intelligent driving modes—including Snow, Mud, and Off-Road—offering extra stability for gravel tracks or weekend trips to the desert periphery. Its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is tuned for smooth shifts, providing a refined experience during long-distance drives between cities.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is centered around a massive 24.6-inch combined display area that gives the interior a high-tech, executive feel. Despite its compact footprint, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max is configured with 7 seats, offering occasional-use flexibility for larger families that most rivals in this size class lack. The air conditioning system is specifically designed for GCC extremes, featuring rear vents to ensure all passengers remain cool during the peak of the summer months.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including Blind Spot Monitoring and Forward Collision Warning standard on this trim. The 360-degree panoramic camera provides a bird's-eye view that is particularly helpful in tight mall parking or busy urban environments. Combined with multiple airbags and electronic stability control, it provides a secure environment for family commuting on fast-moving GCC highways.

The bottom line

This 2025 Tiggo 7 Pro Max is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy buyer who wants a nearly new, high-performance SUV with All-Wheel Drive at a significant saving over showroom prices.
