Summary

This 2026 Chery Tiggo 7 in Luxury trim offers a high-tech crossover experience tailored for the modern GCC driver. As a zero-age vehicle, it represents an opportunity to own a current-generation SUV with contemporary styling and a comprehensive feature list at a competitive price point. The Grey exterior is a neutral, high-demand choice in the local market, ensuring broad appeal for future resale across the region. With its balance of compact dimensions and a surprisingly spacious cabin, it stands out as a versatile choice for both urban commuting and weekend errands. For the UAE buyer, the standard inclusion of premium tech like the 360-degree camera makes navigating tight city spaces significantly easier.

This Car vs Other 2026 Tiggo 7s

As a brand-new 2026 model, this Tiggo 7 sits at the start of its service life, offering the full benefit of the latest manufacturer warranty and the most up-to-date software for its dual-screen interface. In the GCC market where average annual mileage is high, starting with a zero-km vehicle provides a significant buffer for long-term value retention. The Grey paintwork is particularly well-suited to the region, hiding dust well while remaining a top-tier choice for resale liquidity in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim significantly elevates the cabin experience over the base models by adding essential GCC features such as the 360-degree panoramic camera and a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. You also benefit from higher-quality upholstery, an electric driver's seat, and a panoramic sunroof that opens up the cabin. These additions are not just about comfort; they are high-value features that buyers in the local used market actively search for when it comes time to trade in.

Tiggo 7 vs Segment Rivals

The Tiggo 7 competes directly with the Mitsubishi ASX and Nissan Kicks, where it leads on interior technology and boot capacity, offering up to 550 litres of space. While rivals often rely on naturally aspirated engines, the Tiggo 7's 1.5-litre turbocharged unit provides better low-end torque for city driving. Its dual-screen cockpit feels a generation ahead of many established competitors, offering a more premium environment for the price.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy for the 1.5T engine hovers around 7.4 L/100km, which is efficient for daily commutes between Sharjah and Dubai. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km or 6 months at authorized GCC centers, with a growing parts network ensuring competitive maintenance costs. While Chinese brands face faster initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the Tiggo 7's strong feature-to-price ratio helps it retain a loyal following in the secondary market.

Performance & Capability

The 147 hp turbocharged engine is paired with an automatic transmission designed for smooth power delivery in stop-start traffic. With a top speed of 185 km/h, it is perfectly capable of maintaining highway speeds on the E11 or E311 without feeling strained. The front-wheel-drive setup and 210mm ground clearance make it ideal for tackling high speed bumps and unpaved parking areas common in developing suburban communities.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout provides ample legroom for a family, while the dedicated rear AC vents are a necessity for the GCC summer heat. The cabin is centered around the dual 12.3-inch screens, which handle everything from navigation to smartphone integration seamlessly. High-quality materials on the touchpoints and excellent sound insulation from road noise make long drives between emirates a relaxed experience.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the Luxury trim includes a 360-degree camera system, which provides a bird's-eye view for easier parking. The vehicle is equipped with multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS) to handle the high-temperature conditions of the region. These active systems ensure peace of mind during fast-moving highway travel and heavy rain events.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a brand-new, tech-forward SUV without the premium price tag of a European brand, this 2026 Tiggo 7 Luxury is a smart, market-ready choice. Its combination of GCC-critical cooling, modern screens, and a versatile cargo area makes it a high-utility opportunity in the current market.
