Summary

This 2025 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max represents a modern, tech-forward choice for GCC families needing a versatile seven-seater. With just 21,110 km on the clock, it sits well below the typical annual mileage for a one-year-old vehicle in the region, offering a nearly-new experience at a used-market advantage. The Premium trim provides a sophisticated cabin environment that rivals more expensive competitors, finished in a resale-friendly white exterior that handles the local heat exceptionally well. For the UAE buyer, the combination of a punchy turbocharged engine and a flexible three-row layout makes it equally suited for the school run or cross-country highway travel.

This Car vs Other 2025 Tiggo 8 Pro Maxs

With only 21,110 km, this vehicle has been driven significantly less than the 25,000 km average typical for SUVs in the GCC. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, ensuring maximum heat reflection and strong value retention. It presents as a well-maintained example of Chery's flagship, benefiting from the mechanical freshness of a one-year-old car.

PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the cabin experience with ventilated front seats, which are essential for staying comfortable during the peak summer months. It also adds a more robust ADAS suite and the 360-degree camera system, providing much-needed assistance in tight urban parking and multi-lane highway traffic. High-quality soft-touch materials and ambient lighting further distinguish this trim from the base configurations.

Tiggo 8 Pro Max vs Segment Rivals

The Tiggo 8 Pro Max leads its segment in pure feature-per-dirham value, offering technology often reserved for luxury brands, such as the massive dual-screen interface. Compared to rivals like the Mitsubishi Outlander or Nissan X-Trail, it provides a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that makes highway overtaking effortless. Its cargo flexibility, with a flat-folding third row, offers superior utility for families who balance passenger needs with weekend shopping trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages around 8.7 L/100km, which is efficient for a four-wheel-drive SUV of this size on GCC highways. Service intervals are generally set at every 10,000 km or 12 months, with an expanding network of authorized service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While Chinese brands are still establishing their long-term depreciation curves, the flagship Tiggo 8 Pro Max is currently showing a competitive retention rate due to high demand for affordable seven-seaters.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers a robust 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, providing a confident 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 7.6 to 8.5 seconds depending on conditions. The four-wheel-drive system includes selectable terrain modes like Snow and Mud, which translate well to weekend gravel paths and light sandy trails. On the highway, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures smooth cruising and quick response when merging into fast-moving traffic.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the cabin is designed for GCC family logistics with seven seats and a dedicated rear climate zone to keep all passengers cool. The front seats are both heated and ventilated, providing immediate relief from the midday sun, while the panoramic sunroof adds a sense of space to the interior. Premium audio and acoustic glass help isolate the cabin from road noise, creating a quiet environment for long drives between emirates.

Safety

Safety is a priority with this trim featuring a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for safety on high-speed desert highways. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive airbag system and a 360-degree high-definition camera that eliminates blind spots during parking. These active systems work alongside a reinforced chassis to provide peace of mind for family transport.

The bottom line

This Tiggo 8 Pro Max is an ideal match for a growing family looking for flagship technology and low-mileage reliability without the premium price tag of traditional rivals.
