Summary

This 2025 Geely Coolray GF PLUS represents the pinnacle of the model's range, offering a low-mileage opportunity in the sought-after Purple exterior that holds its value well in the GCC market. As the top-tier trim, it bridges the gap between a compact commuter and a performance crossover with a punchy 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Buyers benefit from a nearly new vehicle that balances cutting-edge tech with proven regional durability. For those in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, this model stands out for its superior feature density compared to Japanese rivals at a more accessible price point. It is an ideal pick for urban professionals who want a standout look without sacrificing daily fuel efficiency.

This Car vs Other 2025 Coolrays

With just 22,565 km on the odometer, this Coolray sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, ensuring plenty of factory warranty remains. The Purple exterior is a signature color for this generation, offering stronger-than-average resale demand among younger buyers in the used market compared to standard silver or white units.

GF PLUS vs Lower Trims

The GF PLUS trim adds critical upgrades over the standard GF and GK models, most notably the unique color options and the comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite. Inside, you get the full-size 14.6-inch infotainment screen, ventilated front seats for the GCC summer, and the advanced 540-degree camera system which includes a 'transparent chassis' view for easier parking in tight urban spaces.

Coolray vs Segment Rivals

The Coolray leads rivals like the MG ZS and Hyundai Creta in pure performance, utilizing a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that feels more responsive on GCC highways. Its interior technology, specifically the digital cockpit and ambient lighting, often exceeds what is available in the Kia Seltos or Toyota Corolla Cross at this same price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages 5.8 to 6.5 L/100km, making it one of the most efficient turbocharged crossovers for cross-emirate highway drives. Authorized Geely service centers are widely available across the UAE (via AGMC) and Saudi Arabia, with standard service intervals every 10,000 km. Geely’s rapid growth in the GCC has stabilized its depreciation, with the top-spec GF PLUS retaining value better than entry-level trims.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine delivers 172 hp and 290 Nm of torque, enabling a swift 0–100 km/h sprint of 7.6 seconds for easy highway overtaking. While primarily road-focused with its front-wheel-drive setup, the 18-inch wheels and selectable drive modes provide a composed ride on gravel roads and during high-speed highway cruising. The 7-speed DCT is specifically tuned to handle the high-heat stop-start traffic common in Dubai and Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the extreme GCC climate, featuring powerful automatic air conditioning and ventilated front seats as standard. Passengers benefit from a panoramic sunroof that includes a high-quality sunshade and rear AC vents to ensure comfort in the back row. The dual-tone interior features premium materials and a wireless charging pad, catering to a tech-centric lifestyle.

Safety

The GF PLUS is equipped with a full ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Lane Keep Assist, which are essential for fast-moving multi-lane highways. Passive safety is equally strong with six airbags and a high-strength steel cage construction. The 540-degree camera system provides total visibility, significantly reducing the risk of low-speed collisions in crowded parking areas.

The bottom line

For a GCC buyer seeking the latest tech and a vibrant aesthetic, this low-mileage 2025 GF PLUS is the most complete subcompact SUV package available on the market today.
