Jetour T2 LUX

• 220 mm standard ground clearance
• 12-speaker Sony premium audio system

Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX offers a compelling alternative to established off-roaders, blending a rugged boxy aesthetic with a sophisticated 254 hp turbocharged powertrain. As a Chinese-spec vehicle, it often features tech additions not found in regional base models, though the 200,000 km mileage indicates a very active life on the highway. Black is a high-demand resale color in the UAE, providing a sleek look that complements the T2's wide, aggressive stance. For the GCC buyer, this car delivers the presence of a premium 4x4 with the daily usability of a modern crossover, making it a standout choice for those who value cabin technology and distinctive styling.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

At 200,000 km, this T2 has covered significant ground compared to the GCC average of 25,000 km per year, suggesting heavy cross-emirate highway use. The black exterior remains one of the strongest colors for resale value in the local market, effectively masking the road wear often seen on lighter-colored high-mileage vehicles. Prospective buyers should focus on the mechanical maintenance history given its high utilization in a single model year.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim adds essential high-end features that GCC buyers prioritize, including a 12-speaker Sony audio system and a 540-degree panoramic camera system that provides a transparent chassis view for tight parking and light trails. It also upgrades the cabin with ventilated front seats, a critical feature for summer comfort in the UAE, which is often absent or optional on the Comfort trim.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the GWM Tank 300 and the Ford Bronco Sport, offering a significantly larger 15.6-inch infotainment screen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Its BorgWarner sixth-generation XWD system provides competitive off-road logic, while the cabin maintains more legroom for family duties compared to its more utilitarian rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine averages around 9.5L/100km in mixed driving, though highway cruising can drop this to approximately 8.2L/100km. Chinese-spec models like this one typically trade at a discount compared to GCC-spec versions due to the lack of official agency warranty at Elite Motors, though parts are increasingly available through independent specialists. Maintenance follows a 10,000 km interval, with a robust authorized service presence established in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Performance & Capability

The 254 hp engine delivers a brisk 7.6-second 0-100 km/h time, providing ample power for overtaking on the E11 or E311 highways. With 220 mm of ground clearance and a 700 mm wading depth, the T2 is well-equipped for weekend excursions to Hatta or Wadi Shawka. The Smart XWD system automatically manages torque distribution, allowing the driver to switch between seven terrain modes including Sand, Mud, and Rock.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is centered around a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen and a quiet, acoustic-glass-insulated cabin that blocks out desert wind noise. Climate control is specifically designed for high-temperature markets, featuring powerful rear AC vents and ventilated leather seats to ensure passenger comfort during peak summer months. The five-seat layout offers a generous 580-liter boot, which is ideal for family camping gear or large grocery runs.

Safety

This LUX trim is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are invaluable for long desert highway drives. It also features six airbags as standard and a high-strength steel cage construction. The 540-degree camera system is particularly useful in the GCC, helping drivers avoid hidden obstacles in sandy terrain or high curbs in urban areas.

The bottom line

For the buyer looking for the most feature-rich T2 at a budget-friendly price point, this high-mileage LUX trim offers premium technology and off-road style that rivals cannot match for the same value.
