Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX offers a compelling alternative to traditional rugged SUVs, combining aggressive styling with modern refinement. With mileage that reflects typical regional use for its age, this grey example is a strong choice for buyers seeking a fresh design that holds its own in both Dubai city traffic and weekend desert trails. The LUX trim elevates the experience with premium cabin materials and advanced driver aids that are often optional extras in this segment. For the GCC buyer, the standard high-output engine and smart all-wheel-drive system provide the necessary power for confident highway overtaking and light off-roading.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With just over 40,000 km, this T2 sits within the expected range for a vehicle that has been regularly used on the UAE's extensive highway network. In the GCC market, where annual averages often reach 25,000 km, this mileage indicates the car has been driven consistently without being overextended. The grey exterior is one of the most practical and sought-after colors in the region, offering excellent heat reflection and maintaining a high resale profile compared to niche shades.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim significantly enhances the ownership experience over the base Comfort variant by adding features essential for the GCC climate, including ventilated front seats and a more robust dual-zone climate control system. Tech-focused buyers will appreciate the upgrade to the 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and the 15.6-inch high-definition central display. Additionally, the LUX trim includes a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features and a 540-degree camera system with transparent chassis view, providing extra confidence when navigating tight mall parking or sandy tracks.

Jetour T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the GWM Tank 300 and the Ford Bronco, leading the segment in digital cabin technology and standard equipment levels. While rivals often rely on classic body-on-frame durability, the T2's monocoque chassis offers superior on-road refinement and daily comfort for city commuting between Emirates. Its 70-litre fuel tank is specifically sized to handle long-distance highway hauls, such as Dubai to Muscat, without frequent refueling stops.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption averages between 10-12L/100km depending on how much time is spent in stop-start traffic versus high-speed highway cruising. Service intervals are set at 10,000 km, with a growing network of authorized centers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman ensuring parts availability. While Chinese brands generally face higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2's strong market demand and generous local warranty support provide better value retention than previous generations in the segment.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 8.7 seconds. The BorgWarner sixth-generation intelligent AWD system (XWD) automatically manages power distribution to tackle sand, mud, and gravel with ease. With a 220 mm ground clearance and a dedicated 'Off-Road' mode, it is perfectly equipped for trips to Hatta or Wadi crossings during the winter season.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed as a sanctuary from the intense GCC summer, featuring powerful air conditioning and ventilated leather seats that cool the occupants almost instantly. The massive 15.6-inch touchscreen serves as the hub for all entertainment and navigation, supported by a Snapdragon 8155 chip for lag-free operation. Multi-color ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof add to the premium feel, making long desert drives feel like a first-class experience.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the LUX trim, featuring 10 airbags and a reinforced high-strength steel cage. Standard active systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist, which are invaluable for maintaining safety on fast-moving UAE highways. The 540-degree panoramic camera provides a transparent view of the ground beneath the car, a standout feature for avoiding obstacles in both urban and off-road environments.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 LUX is the ideal choice for a modern UAE driver who wants the rugged look of an off-roader with the luxury and tech of a premium city SUV. It offers a turn-key opportunity to own a high-spec, GCC-ready vehicle that is still well within its peak operational life.
