Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 LUX offers a compelling alternative to established off-roaders, blending a rugged 'hardcore' aesthetic with a premium, tech-forward interior. Having covered 45,910 km in its first year, it remains a fresh example of the range-topping Luxury trim, finished in a resale-friendly Grey that stands up well to the GCC sun. The 254 hp turbocharged engine paired with BorgWarner’s intelligent XWD system makes it as capable on weekend wadi trips as it is refined on the daily Dubai-Sharjah commute. For the GCC buyer, the standout feature is the localized cooling performance, including ventilated seats and powerful AC designed specifically for our extreme summer heat. It offers a unique 'adventure-ready' package that rivals more expensive segment icons without sacrificing modern safety or cabin tech.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 45,910 km on the odometer, this T2 has been driven more than the average GCC city car but remains well within the expected range for a cross-emirate commuter. The Grey exterior is one of the most practical and sought-after colors in the regional used market, offering better heat reflection and easier maintenance than darker shades. As a 2025 model, it benefits from the latest software refinements and the full suite of LUX-trim features that maintain higher residual value compared to base configurations.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX (Luxury) trim is a significant step up from the Comfort model, adding high-value features that are essential for the GCC climate, such as front seat ventilation and a 50W fast wireless charger. Most notably, it upgrades the cabin experience with a 12-speaker Sony premium audio system and an expanded 540-degree panoramic camera system for easier maneuvering. You also get the full Level 2 ADAS safety suite and adaptive cruise control, which are often missing on lower-spec imports.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The Jetour T2 is frequently cross-shopped with the GWM Tank 300 and the Ford Bronco, leading the segment in digital real estate with its massive 15.6-inch infotainment screen. Its 220 mm ground clearance and 700 mm wading depth offer more legitimate off-road security than most urban crossovers, while its 70-liter fuel tank provides superior range for long highway drives between cities like Dubai and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0L turbo averages between 10-12 L/100km in GCC mixed driving, benefiting from the 7-speed DCT's efficiency on the highway. Maintenance is supported by an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and KSA, with parts shared across the wider Chery holding group ensuring good availability. While newer to the market, the T2 is showing strong value retention in the GCC due to its high standard specification and the transferrable manufacturer warranty often associated with local regional specs.

Performance & Capability

Under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged engine delivering 254 hp and 390 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in roughly 8.2 seconds—plenty of punch for merging onto high-speed highways like E11. The BorgWarner XWD system is the highlight, intelligently distributing torque to conquer sand dunes or rocky tracks with dedicated driving modes. Whether you are exploring Hatta or tackling the desert, the combination of a 39-degree approach angle and a robust steel cage construction provides genuine confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a mix of rugged 'industrial' design and modern luxury, featuring suede-effect seating and a vast panoramic sunroof that creates an airy feel. Specialized GCC features include dual-zone climate control with powerful rear vents and ventilated front seats that are a necessity during the peak summer months. Acoustic glass and premium soundproofing keep the interior quiet, allowing the 12-speaker Sony system to shine even at highway speeds.

Safety

Safety is comprehensive on the LUX trim, featuring a suite of 10 airbags and a Level 2 ADAS platform that includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, and Forward Collision Warning. The 540-degree camera system—which includes a 'transparent chassis' view—is particularly useful for spotting sharp rocks while off-roading or navigating tight city parking. Standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts provide essential protection on busy multi-lane GCC roads.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the rugged presence of a dedicated 4x4 with the technology and comfort of a modern luxury SUV, this Jetour T2 LUX is a standout opportunity in the current market.
