Summary

This one-year-old family SUV represents a smart acquisition for buyers seeking modern tech and seven-seat utility without the premium price tag. With mileage significantly below the GCC annual average, it offers a nearly-new experience in a silver finish that holds excellent resale appeal in the regional market. The FL trim adds critical comfort features like a larger digital cockpit and premium upholstery that elevate it above basic commuter crossovers. It stands out in the segment for its impressive interior space and generous standard equipment list, making it a highly practical choice for growing families. In the UAE climate, its dedicated rear ventilation and efficient cooling system make it a reliable companion for year-round driving.

This Car vs Other 2025 X70s

At 19,000 km, this vehicle is currently well under the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km per year, marking it as a lower-use example. The silver exterior is one of the top three most requested colors for resale in Dubai and the wider region, ensuring better liquidly when it is time to upgrade. Being a GCC-spec model, it benefits from a localized cooling system and warranty support that imported Chinese-spec variants lack.

FL vs Lower Trims

The FL trim provides a substantial tech upgrade, featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 10.2-inch central infotainment screen. It introduces 20-inch alloy wheels and the massive 1.1m² panoramic sunroof which are often absent on base versions. Additionally, this trim includes the 360-degree camera system and upgraded synthetic leather upholstery that significantly improves the cabin's tactile feel.

X70 vs Segment Rivals

The X70 leads competitors like the Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander by offering a more powerful 1.5L turbocharged engine and a wider 1,900mm body for superior shoulder room. While rivals often rely on basic 4-speed automatics, the Jetour utilizes a more modern 6-speed dual-clutch transmission for smoother highway cruising. It also provides a larger 57-liter fuel tank, extending its range for long-distance travel between Emirates compared to others in the budget 7-seater class.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption typically averages around 7.6L/100km on the highway, though this can rise toward 9.0L/100km in stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh. Service intervals are set at every 10,000 km or 6 months, supported by an expanding authorized network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Historically, Jetour models retain approximately 60-65% of their value after three years in the GCC market, which is competitive for the emerging Chinese SUV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5L turbocharged engine delivers a reliable 154 hp, providing steady acceleration suitable for highway overtaking and city merging. While front-wheel drive, the 200mm ground clearance allows for confident driving on unpaved gravel roads and light weekend excursions. The dual-mode drive system allows you to toggle into Sport mode for increased throttle response during inter-city highway drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is flexible, with flat-folding rear rows that expand cargo volume to a massive 1,680 liters when needed. The air conditioning system is specifically tuned for GCC heat, featuring dedicated vents for the second row to ensure passenger comfort during peak summer. Acoustic glass and soft-touch materials throughout the cabin help insulate passengers from road noise and external temperatures.

Safety

Safety is managed through a comprehensive suite including electronic stability control, traction control, and brake assist standard on this trim. The inclusion of a 360-degree camera and rear parking sensors is particularly helpful for maneuvering a vehicle of this size in tight urban parking spaces. It also features tire pressure monitoring and multiple airbags, providing essential peace of mind for family transport on fast-moving GCC highways.

The bottom line

For the family buyer who prioritizes modern tech and low-mileage reliability, this 2025 Jetour X70 FL offers the best balance of features and remaining lifespan currently available in the pre-owned market.
