Summary

This 2023 Jetour Dashing Luxury offers a modern crossover experience with very low mileage for the GCC market, having covered just 25,000 km in two years. Its sleek Grey finish is a highly practical choice for the region, known for maintaining strong resale value and managing exterior heat effectively. As the Luxury trim, it provides a significantly enhanced digital interior and more powerful engine performance compared to the entry-level models. In a segment dominated by established names, the Dashing stands out by offering high-tier technology and a futuristic design at a more accessible price point. For a UAE buyer, this represents a chance to own a tech-heavy vehicle that is still well within its peak operational life.

This Car vs Other 2023 Dashings

At 25,000 km, this Dashing sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km per year, making it a low-mileage example for its age. While many 2023 models in the region have already surpassed the 45,000 km mark, this vehicle offers a fresher mechanical state. The Grey exterior is one of the most stable colors for resale in the local market, offering a neutral and sought-after look for future buyers.

LUXURY vs Lower Trims

The Luxury trim is a major step up from the base models, most notably replacing the standard 12.8-inch screen with a massive 15.6-inch infotainment display. It also features a more powerful 1.6L turbocharged engine, providing nearly 40 more horsepower than the 1.5L variants. Additional premium touches include a 360-degree camera system and ventilated front seats, which are essential for maintaining comfort during the intense GCC summer.

Dashing vs Segment Rivals

The Dashing competes directly with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, but leads them significantly in cabin technology and screen real estate. Its wheelbase provides competitive rear legroom that rivals the larger X-Trail, making it a superior choice for families who need a compact footprint without sacrificing interior space. Furthermore, the Dashing’s futuristic 'Mecha' design language gives it a more distinctive road presence than its more conservative rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T engine averages around 7.5 to 9.0 L/100 km, though heavy stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh can push this higher. The car uses 92-octane gasoline, making it cost-effective at the pump compared to European rivals requiring premium grades. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese mainstays, the Dashing’s high equipment level helps it maintain interest in the secondary market. Authorized service centers are well-established across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and maintenance support are readily available.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6L turbocharged engine produces 194 hp, delivering punchy acceleration that makes highway overtaking on the E11 effortless. It reaches a top speed of 200 km/h and handles long-distance cruises between emirates with a comfort-oriented suspension tune. While strictly a front-wheel-drive crossover, its 160mm ground clearance is more than adequate for managing speed bumps, gravel tracks, and suburban commutes. The 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) provides smooth shifts, specifically tuned for efficient highway cruising.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat layout features high-quality synthetic leather and a panoramic sunroof that opens up the cabin to the outside world. To combat the GCC heat, the Luxury trim includes a powerful air conditioning system with rear vents and ventilated front seats as standard. The 8-speaker surround sound system and ambient lighting create a premium atmosphere usually reserved for much more expensive vehicles. Insulation is well-balanced, keeping the cabin quiet during long desert highway drives.

Safety

Standard safety for this trim includes a comprehensive suite of six airbags and a 360-degree panoramic camera that simplifies parking in tight urban spaces. It is equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) including Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Warning, which are vital for safety on fast-moving multi-lane highways. Stability control and hill-start assist ensure the vehicle remains composed on slippery or uneven surfaces.

The bottom line

This Jetour Dashing is the perfect match for a tech-savvy family or young professional seeking a nearly-new SUV with premium features at a fraction of the cost of traditional luxury brands. With its low mileage and high trim level, it represents one of the strongest value opportunities currently available in the UAE used market.
