Summary

This 2025 Jetour X70 Plus is a compelling choice for families seeking a modern, high-tech seven-seater without the premium price tag of established rivals. The white exterior is the most preferred color in the GCC market, offering excellent heat reflection and maintaining the highest resale demand locally. As a LUX trim model, it comes with a high level of standard equipment that transforms the daily commute into a luxury experience. With its efficient 1.6L turbocharged engine, this SUV balances city agility with enough power for cross-emirate highway trips. For the GCC buyer, the combination of a spacious cabin and a robust authorized service network makes this a low-risk, high-value family investment.

This Car vs Other 2025 X70 Pluses

With 114,000 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been utilized more frequently than the typical GCC average for a one-year-old car, which usually sees 20,000 to 25,000 km. However, this is reflected in a more accessible entry price for a 2025 model, allowing you to own the latest body style and tech suite for less. The white exterior is a massive advantage in the region, ensuring the best possible price when you decide to sell.

LUX vs Lower Trims

The LUX trim adds essential features that GCC buyers value most, including a panoramic sunroof that brightens the entire three-row cabin and ventilated front seats for summer comfort. Unlike the Comfort trim, the LUX includes a 360-degree camera system and a power-operated tailgate, making parking in tight city malls and loading groceries far more convenient. You also benefit from upgraded 20-inch alloy wheels that provide a more commanding road presence.

X70 Plus vs Segment Rivals

The X70 Plus competes directly with the Changan CS75 Plus and the Haval H6, leading the segment in total seating capacity with its standard seven-seat layout. While rivals often offer more compact footprints, the Jetour provides a larger wheelbase, resulting in better legroom for second-row passengers. Its 197 hp output from the 1.6T engine also gives it a performance edge over several entry-level European crossovers in the same price bracket.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 1.6T engine averages between 8.1 and 10 L/100km in GCC stop-start traffic, remaining efficient on long highway runs between cities. Authorized service centers are widely available across the UAE through Elite Motors and across the wider GCC, ensuring parts and maintenance are never an issue. While Chinese SUVs generally see a 15-20% annual depreciation, the X70 Plus's high feature-to-price ratio helps it retain value better than many budget competitors.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivers a healthy 197 hp and 290 Nm of torque, ensuring confident overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. A 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) provides smooth shifts, while multiple drive modes allow you to prioritize fuel economy or responsiveness. With 210 mm of ground clearance, it easily handles gravel tracks and weekend escapes to the wadis, though it remains a road-biased FWD crossover.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful air conditioning system with dedicated vents for the rear rows to ensure all seven passengers stay cool. The digital cockpit is dominated by twin 10.25-inch displays, providing a highly tech-forward environment for the driver. Acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from road noise during long-distance trips, and the flat-folding rear seats allow for a flexible cargo area that expands to 438 litres with the third row down.

Safety

Safety is a priority in the LUX trim, which comes equipped with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of driver aids. Standard features include Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Departure Warning, which are invaluable for navigating multi-lane highway traffic. The inclusion of a 360-degree panoramic camera and front/rear parking sensors provides full visibility, reducing the risk of minor collisions in crowded urban environments.

The bottom line

This Jetour X70 Plus is the ideal match for a growing family that needs the utility of seven seats and the latest 2025 technology without the high premium of a brand-new showroom car.
