Summary

This 2025 Lexus LX700h F SPORT represents the new pinnacle of the LX range, offering a significant performance boost over the standard LX600 while maintaining its legendary durability. With only 35,000 km, this vehicle is barely broken in by GCC standards and features the highly desirable Black exterior, which remains a cornerstone for resale value in the region. As the first-ever hybrid LX, it bridges the gap between executive refinement and off-road capability, making it a unique offering for those who refuse to choose between a luxury sedan and a desert-ready SUV. For the GCC buyer, the combination of Toyota-backed reliability and the instantaneous torque of the hybrid system provides a driving experience that rivals in this segment struggle to match in the local heat.

This Car vs Other 2025 LX700hs

With 35,000 km on the odometer, this LX700h sits well below the typical 50,000 km mark often seen for year-one flagship SUVs in the GCC. The Black-on-Black F SPORT configuration is the most searched-for aesthetic in the UAE market, ensuring this specific unit will command a premium at resale compared to lighter or neutral tones. Being a GCC-spec model, it carries the full peace of mind regarding regional cooling systems and official service support that imported alternatives lack.

F SPORT vs Lower Trims

The F SPORT trim adds critical performance hardware that the base Luxury trim lacks, including a Torsen limited-slip rear differential and F SPORT-tuned adaptive variable suspension. Inside, you benefit from trim-exclusive bolstered sport seats and a perforated leather steering wheel designed for better grip in the summer heat. While lower trims focus on basic utility, the F SPORT adds a rear stabilizer bar to significantly reduce body roll during high-speed highway cornering common on E11 commutes.

LX700h vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS, the LX700h leads with its genuine body-on-frame construction and a 700mm wading depth, making it far more capable for weekend desert excursions. While European rivals often require more frequent specialized maintenance, the Lexus benefits from the most extensive authorized service network in the GCC. Its hybrid system provides a massive 790 Nm of torque, offering more immediate low-end pull for sand driving than the turbocharged-only engines found in the Cadillac Escalade.

Running Costs & Resale

The LX700h is engineered for efficiency in stop-start city traffic, where the hybrid motor significantly reduces fuel consumption compared to the non-hybrid V6. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, and with one of the most robust authorized networks spanning the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, long-term maintenance is straightforward. Lexus flagship SUVs traditionally hold their value better than any other vehicle in this segment, with 3-year retention rates in the GCC significantly outperforming European luxury competitors. Being a GCC-spec hybrid, it avoids the high depreciation often associated with non-regional imports.

Performance & Capability

The 457 hp hybrid powertrain delivers a 0–100 km/h time of just 6.5 seconds, an impressive feat for a vehicle of this scale. The real advantage in the GCC is the combined 790 Nm of torque, which provides effortless overtaking power on long desert highways and precise throttle control when navigating dunes. The LX700h retains a full-time 4WD system with a low-range transfer case, ensuring that its hybrid nature never compromises its legendary off-road DNA. Standard Active Height Control allows you to increase ground clearance to tackle towering sand dunes or rocky wadi paths with confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

The 5-seat cabin is a sanctuary of quiet, featuring acoustic glass and extensive insulation to keep the 45°C summer heat at bay. The F SPORT trim includes high-output ventilated front seats and a powerful multi-zone climate control system that is specifically tuned for the extreme GCC climate. Technology is headlined by a dual-touchscreen interface and a 12.3-inch display, complemented by a center console cool box to keep beverages chilled during long drives between emirates. The cabin materials are chosen for their durability and ability to resist UV damage, a critical factor for long-term ownership in the region.

Safety

This LX700h comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, providing a comprehensive suite of active safety technologies. Features like All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist are invaluable for the long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. For city driving, the 360° Panoramic View Monitor and Blind Spot Monitor make navigating tight urban parking and fast-moving multi-lane traffic effortless. The hybrid battery is housed in a waterproof casing, ensuring safety is maintained even during heavy seasonal rains or wadi crossings.

The bottom line

This LX700h F SPORT is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the performance of a modern hybrid with the indestructible reputation of a Lexus flagship. Given its low mileage and GCC-spec status, it represents a secure, high-retention investment in the current market.
