Summary

This 2025 G63 AMG represents the latest evolution of a global icon, now featuring a 48V mild-hybrid system that sharpens throttle response for the UAE's fast-moving highways. With mileage significantly below the GCC annual average, this example offers a nearly-new ownership experience without the long waiting lists often found at local dealerships. The Gold exterior is a distinctive, high-demand choice in the regional luxury market, ensuring strong resale appeal. Compared to the standard G550, this AMG variant delivers nearly 150 more horsepower and the signature side-exit exhaust note that has made it a staple in Dubai and Riyadh. For the GCC buyer, the combination of triple-locking differentials and a modernized cabin with dual 12.3-inch displays makes it as capable on a desert weekend as it is comfortable on the daily commute.

This Car vs Other 2025 G63 AMGs

At just over 12,000 km, this vehicle's mileage is exceptionally low for a 2025 model in the GCC, where the typical annual usage often exceeds 25,000 km. While it is an American spec vehicle, it shares the same robust mechanical DNA as local versions, though buyers should verify service contract compatibility with UAE-based authorized centers. The Gold finish is a standout 'Manufaktur-style' choice that holds value well in a market that favors bold, prestigious color palettes.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The AMG G63 sits at the top of the internal combustion G-Class lineup, adding the handcrafted 585 hp V8 engine over the G550's inline-six. This trim includes the AMG Ride Control suspension with adaptive damping as standard—essential for managing the G-Wagon’s height during high-speed highway cornering. Inside, you receive Nappa leather as standard, along with the AMG Performance steering wheel and dedicated off-road telemetry that lower trims lack.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Range Rover Autobiography or Lamborghini Urus offer higher top speeds, neither can match the G63’s authentic body-on-frame durability and triple-locking differentials for true off-road pedigree. The G63’s 100-litre fuel tank provides superior range for long-distance cross-border drives compared to more road-biased performance SUVs. It also maintains a higher driving position, offering better visibility in dense city traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

The G63 AMG is famous for its class-leading resale value in the GCC, often depreciating as little as 10-12% annually, which is significantly better than its European luxury peers. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 14.7L/100km, though the new mild-hybrid system helps reduce consumption during the heavy stop-start traffic common in Dubai or Doha. Mercedes-Benz maintains a massive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, ensuring parts and expert technicians are always within reach.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by 585 hp, this SUV hits 100 km/h in a staggering 4.3 seconds, providing the kind of overtaking power usually reserved for supercars. It features three 100% independent locking differentials and a low-range transfer case, allowing it to navigate soft sand dunes that would stop most luxury crossovers. The 2025 model year also introduces 'Transparent Hood' technology, using 360° cameras to show the terrain directly beneath the front wheels—a game-changer for rocky wadi driving.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a sanctuary of Nappa leather and high-resolution tech, featuring the latest MBUX system with augmented reality navigation. For the GCC climate, the three-zone climate control is exceptionally powerful, ensuring the cabin stays cool even when external temperatures exceed 45°C. The standard Burmester® 3D Surround Sound system provides 15 speakers of acoustic clarity, while acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed desert cruises.

Safety

The 2025 G63 is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Active Steering Assist and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are vital for safety on the region’s busy multi-lane highways. Standard safety hardware includes ten airbags and a reinforced steel ladder-frame chassis designed to provide maximum occupant protection. The high seating position combined with a 360° camera system makes navigating tight urban parking easy despite the vehicle’s boxy dimensions.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a 2025 G63 with low mileage and a high-impact color, ideal for the buyer who wants the ultimate GCC status symbol with genuine off-road capability.
