Summary

This 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG represents the latest technical evolution of the legendary G-Wagon, featuring the new 48-volt mild-hybrid integration for smoother power delivery. With only 22,640 km on the clock, this one-year-old example offers a significant mileage advantage compared to the typical 25,000 km annual usage seen in the GCC market. The Blue exterior is a sophisticated alternative to the common grayscale palette, maintaining strong desirability and resale potential in the UAE. As a Japanese-spec model, it features the preferred left-hand drive configuration and high equipment levels often sought by savvy local collectors. For a GCC buyer, the combination of iconic boxy styling and the updated MBUX infotainment makes this the definitive luxury SUV choice.

This Car vs Other 2025 G63 AMGs

At 22,640 km, this vehicle sits slightly below the average 25,000 km annual mileage typically accumulated by luxury SUVs in the UAE. While many 2025 models in the market are listed with delivery mileage, this example provides a more accessible entry point while still being within its first year of service. The Blue finish is a premium choice that stands out in Dubai's sea of white and black vehicles, potentially aiding future resale speed.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The G63 AMG serves as the performance flagship, adding the handcrafted V8 engine and the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission over the G550. This trim specifically includes the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system with a rear-biased torque distribution for better on-road handling. Inside, it adds the Burmester 3D Surround Sound system and the AMG-specific steering wheel with dedicated drive-mode dials, features that are highly valued by GCC buyers.

G63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

Against rivals like the Range Rover Sport SV and BMW X5 M, the G63 leads with its authentic body-on-frame construction and triple-locking differentials, making it far more capable in deep sand. It also offers a higher driving position and a unique 'Transparent Hood' camera feature that is vital for navigating technical terrain during weekend desert trips. While rivals prioritize track times, the G63 maintains a level of presence and value retention that remains unmatched in the region.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2025 model's 48-volt system improves fuel efficiency during stop-start traffic in cities like Riyadh or Dubai, though the V8 remains a performance-focused engine. As a Japanese-spec vehicle, owners should verify service compatibility at local authorized centers like Gargash or Emirates Motor Company, though parts availability is excellent across the GCC. The G63 traditionally commands the highest resale value in its class, often retaining over 85% of its value in the first two years.

Performance & Capability

With a 0-100 km/h time of just 4.4 seconds, this SUV offers supercar-level acceleration despite its rugged aerodynamics. The three locking differentials and low-range gearing allow it to scale 100% grades, a feature that translates to effortless dune climbing during UAE winters. A maximum ground clearance of 241 mm and 700 mm wading depth ensure it can handle extreme weather events or rugged wadi crossings with ease.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a blend of heritage and modern tech, featuring the latest dual 12.3-inch MBUX displays with augmented reality navigation. For the GCC climate, the high-capacity air conditioning and acoustic glass are essential for maintaining a cool, quiet environment during summer heat. The five-seat layout provides ample headroom for all passengers, making it a practical choice for long family drives between Emirates.

Safety

The 2025 G63 comes standard with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Active Steering Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist, which are particularly helpful on long desert highways. Blind Spot Monitoring is essential for navigating fast-moving UAE traffic, while the 360-degree camera system makes parking this large SUV in tight city malls effortless. It also features a robust array of airbags and the Pre-Safe system as standard equipment.

The bottom line

This Japanese-spec 2025 G63 AMG is the perfect opportunity for a buyer looking for a modern, tech-forward 'G' with a unique color profile and slightly lower-than-average mileage.
