Summary

This 2025 Peugeot 3008 Allure is a standout choice in the compact SUV segment, offering a near-new experience with just 38 km on the odometer. As a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, its ultra-low mileage provides a significant advantage for those seeking showroom quality without the new-car depreciation hit. The Allure trim balances French design flare with practical features like the i-Cockpit, making it an ideal companion for the modern UAE lifestyle. Its Grey exterior is one of the most resilient and sought-after colors for maintaining resale value in the region. For a GCC buyer, the refined 1.6-liter turbocharged engine provides a smooth balance of urban efficiency and highway capability.

This Car vs Other 2025 Peugeot 3008s

With only 38 km recorded, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for SUVs in the GCC. It presents as a virtually undriven example, offering a fresh mechanical life compared to higher-mileage daily drivers. The Grey exterior is a highly strategic choice for the local market, as it resists showing desert dust and holds its value exceptionally well during resale.

ALLURE vs Lower Trims

The Allure trim significantly elevates the cabin experience over the entry-level Active trim, featuring the 21-inch panoramic curved i-Cockpit display and customizable i-Toggles. GCC buyers will appreciate the addition of a reversing camera with a washing function to clear sand and dust, along with 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also adds keyless entry and start, a feature that makes quick errands in the summer heat much more convenient.

3008 vs Segment Rivals

The Peugeot 3008 competes directly with the Volkswagen Tiguan and Kia Sportage, leading the pack with its avant-garde interior design and superior cargo practicality. Its 520-litre boot is more versatile for family road trips between Emirates than many Japanese rivals in the same size class. Furthermore, the specialized 1.6 Turbo engine offers a punchier mid-range torque that feels more responsive on fast-moving highways like the E11.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.6-liter turbocharged engine is remarkably efficient, averaging 5.8 L/100km on combined cycles, which is excellent for long-distance commutes. As a GCC spec vehicle, it benefits from the established Stellantis service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, ensuring easy access to parts and specialized labor. European SUVs in this class typically see a 12–15% annual depreciation in the local market, though the Allure's high tech-spec helps it retain a premium over base models.

Performance & Capability

The 1.6-liter engine delivers a reliable 165 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 8.9 seconds, which provides confident overtaking on high-speed highways. While strictly front-wheel drive, the high ground clearance and selectable drive modes make it capable for light gravel paths and weekend trips to the beach. The 6-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, ensuring comfort during stop-start traffic in cities like Dubai or Riyadh.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 3008 Allure features a spacious five-seat layout with high-quality fabric and leather-effect trim designed to stay comfortable in the GCC's high temperatures. The dual-zone automatic air conditioning includes dedicated rear vents, essential for passenger comfort during the peak summer months. The cabin is well-insulated, providing a quiet sanctuary from road noise during long cross-country drives.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a 4-star Euro NCAP rating for the 2025 model year, supported by six airbags and a robust suite of ADAS features. Standard equipment includes active lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and automatic emergency braking, which are invaluable for safety on multi-lane GCC highways. The inclusion of ISOFIX points and child locks makes it a secure choice for young families.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a current-model French SUV with delivery mileage, offering the perfect blend of efficiency and futuristic cabin technology for the discerning GCC driver.
