Summary

This 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Convertible represents the absolute cutting edge of the 992.2 generation, featuring the revolutionary T-Hybrid system for instantaneous throttle response. With very low mileage for a GCC-market vehicle, this example offers a significant opportunity to skip the waiting list for the most technologically advanced 911 ever built. The GTS trim strikes the perfect balance for the region, offering more track-focused performance than a Carrera S while remaining a refined, open-top grand tourer for the UAE's coastal highways. Finished in white, the strongest resale color in the Middle East, it remains cool in the summer heat and holds its value exceptionally well in the local secondary market. For the GCC buyer, this is a rare chance to own a factory-spec performance icon that handles stop-start city traffic and high-speed desert drives with equal composure.

This Car vs Other 2025 911s

With just over 19,000 km, this GTS has been driven sparingly compared to the typical 25,000 km annual average seen on GCC performance cars. Its white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, reflecting extreme UV rays to keep cabin temperatures manageable while ensuring maximum desirability at resale. Unlike higher-mileage imports, this GCC-spec car was built to handle the intense local climate with optimized cooling systems and factory warranty support.

CARRERA GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS sits significantly above the Carrera S, debuting the 3.6-litre T-Hybrid engine and electric exhaust turbocharger which eliminates lag entirely. Standard upgrades include rear-axle steering for high-speed stability on the E11 and PASM Sport Suspension which lowers the car by 10mm for sharper cornering. It also gains the Sport Design package and center-lock wheels, features that command a premium in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi used markets.

911 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Maserati GranCabrio or the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster, the 911 GTS offers a more precise, driver-centric experience with a vastly superior infotainment system. Its rear-engine layout provides unique traction advantages on the UAE's well-paved but occasionally sandy surfaces. While rivals focus on touring comfort, the GTS leads the segment in technical innovation and long-term mechanical reliability in desert conditions.

Running Costs & Resale

The new T-Hybrid system manages a combined fuel consumption of approximately 10.5 L/100km, making it surprisingly efficient for a 500+ hp supercar during city commuting. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or annually at authorized Porsche Centres located across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Porsche 911s, particularly in GTS trim, historically demonstrate the lowest depreciation rates of any European sports car in the GCC.

Performance & Capability

The 3.6-litre engine paired with an integrated electric motor delivers a staggering 610 Nm of torque, pushing the car to 100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds. The 400V electrical system powers an electric air conditioning compressor, ensuring the cabin stays ice-cold even when the engine's auto-stop is active in heavy Riyadh or Dubai traffic. With a top speed of 312 km/h, it remains one of the fastest ways to cross the Emirates in total confidence.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the 992.2 refresh introduces a fully digital 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster and a standard cooled wireless charging compartment for your smartphone. The GTS interior features Race-Tex upholstery which stays cooler than traditional leather during the peak GCC summer months. High-fidelity audio and dual-zone climate control with powerful airflow ensure a premium environment even with the convertible top retracted.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Porsche’s advanced Wet Mode, which uses acoustic sensors in the wheel arches to detect spray and prep the stability systems. The 360-degree camera and ParkAssist are essential for navigating tight parking structures in major GCC malls. Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring provide crucial support during long highway stints between cities.

The bottom line

This is the ultimate specification for a Middle Eastern enthusiast who wants the very latest Porsche technology in a high-resale color, ready for immediate delivery without the factory lead times.
