Summary

This 2025 Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS represents the cutting edge of the 992.2 generation, featuring the brand's first-ever performance-focused T-Hybrid powertrain. With less than 3,000 km on the odometer, this GCC-spec example is effectively a new vehicle, offering a significant advantage over high-mileage imports. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable, stable resale choice in the UAE market, perfectly complementing the iconic Targa silhouette and wrap-around rear glass. As a GTS model, it bridges the gap between daily usability and track-ready performance, making it the most balanced choice for the region's discerning enthusiasts. For a GCC buyer, this is a rare opportunity to skip the long waiting lists for a launch-year hybrid 911.

This Car vs Other 2025 911s

With just 2,983 km, this Targa 4 GTS sits well below the typical 20,000 km annual average for GCC-driven vehicles, ensuring its mechanical components are barely through the break-in period. The Grey finish is a premier choice for local resale, maintaining stronger residual value than louder colors in the regional used market. Being a GCC-spec model, it carries full regional warranty compatibility and a cooling system designed specifically for the extreme heat of Middle Eastern summers.

Targa 4GTS vs Lower Trims

The GTS trim adds substantial performance over the standard Targa 4, most notably the new T-Hybrid system which integrates an electric motor into the 8-speed PDK for instant torque. It features standard rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a 10mm lower ride height for sharper handling. Inside, you receive the Race-Tex upholstery and Sport Chrono package as standard, features that are expensive individual options on lower trims.

911 vs Segment Rivals

The 911 Targa 4 GTS leads rivals like the Maserati GranCabrio and Aston Martin Vantage by offering a unique hybrid-assisted AWD system that provides superior traction on sandy or dusty road surfaces common in the UAE. Its automatic Targa roof offers better thermal insulation and cabin quietness during high-speed highway cruises compared to traditional soft-tops. The packaging remains more practical for daily use, featuring 2+2 seating that many dedicated supercars lack.

Running Costs & Resale

The T-Hybrid system delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 10.8 L/100km, a notable improvement in efficiency for city driving in Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km, supported by the most extensive high-end service network in the GCC via Al Nabooda and Ali & Sons. The 911 Targa GTS historically enjoys some of the lowest depreciation rates in the sports car segment, often retaining over 75% of its value after three years in the UAE market.

Performance & Capability

The headline figure is a blistering 0-100 km/h time of 3.1 seconds, enabled by the 610 Nm of torque provided by the new eTurbo system. This powertrain eliminates turbo lag, providing instant response for safe overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. The all-wheel-drive system and standard rear-axle steering provide immense stability during high-speed cornering and improved agility in tight urban environments.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a 2+2 configuration, offering a versatile space that accommodates extra luggage or small passengers for short trips. GCC-specific comfort is prioritized with a high-performance air conditioning system and the classic Targa bar providing structural rigidity without the wind buffeting of a full convertible. The fully digital cockpit and Bose Surround Sound system ensure a premium environment for long drives between Emirates.

Safety

This Targa 4 GTS comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including Porsche Stability Management (PSM), LED Matrix headlights with PDLS Plus for superior night visibility on unlit desert roads, and Lane Change Assist. The integrated rollover protection in the Targa hoop provides a level of safety rarely found in open-top sports cars, while the advanced AWD system ensures maximum grip during occasional rain or sandstorms.

The bottom line

This is a pristine, low-mileage example of the first-ever hybrid 911, offering a perfect blend of GCC reliability and cutting-edge Porsche performance for the collector or daily driver.
