Highlights

• 500 hp from a 3.0-litre Hurricane High Output I6
• 246 mm maximum ground clearance
• 4,500 kg maximum braked towing capacity

Summary

This 2025 RAM 1500 Rebel offers a significant performance advantage with the new 500 hp Hurricane High Output engine, delivering more power than the outgoing V8 while maintaining lower mileage for its age. As a Canadian spec vehicle, it provides a high-value entry point into the latest generation of RAM trucks, featuring a modern tech-focused cabin that rivals premium SUVs. The Rebel trim specifically bridges the gap between daily usability and genuine off-road capability, making it a versatile choice for both urban commuting and weekend desert excursions. For a GCC buyer, the combination of nearly new mechanicals and the sought-after High Output powertrain makes this a compelling alternative to higher-priced local dealer stock.

This Car vs Other 2025 RAM 1500s

With just 23,000 km, this truck sits well below the typical 25,000 km annual average for utility vehicles in the GCC, suggesting minimal wear on the new turbocharged powertrain. While Canadian spec vehicles are often priced more competitively than GCC versions, this example maintains high appeal due to its modern 500 hp engine configuration which is still rare in the used market.

REBEL vs Lower Trims

The Rebel trim distinguishes itself from the Big Horn and Laramie with a factory 1-inch suspension lift, Bilstein monotube performance shocks, and a standard electronic-locking rear differential for superior traction. It also includes underbody skid plates and 33-inch all-terrain tires, providing essential protection and grip for regional off-road conditions that lower trims lack.

RAM 1500 vs Segment Rivals

The RAM 1500 Rebel competes directly with the Ford F-150 Tremor and Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss, leading the segment in interior refinement and ride quality thanks to its sophisticated rear coil-spring suspension. Its 500 hp Hurricane engine outmuscles the standard V8 offerings from competitors, providing better high-speed overtaking performance on long GCC highways.

Running Costs & Resale

The new 3.0L Hurricane High Output engine is designed for improved efficiency over the older 5.7L Hemi, though real-world GCC city driving typically sees consumption around 15.7 L/100km. Service is supported by an extensive network of authorized Mopar centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, though buyers should note that Canadian spec vehicles may have different warranty terms than GCC-sourced units. Resale value for the Rebel remains strong in the region due to its popularity as a lifestyle vehicle.

Performance & Capability

Generating 500 hp and significant low-end torque, this truck offers effortless acceleration and a maximum towing capacity of approximately 4,500 kg when properly equipped. The 246 mm of ground clearance and specialized off-road drive modes make it highly capable for navigating soft sand and rocky wadis. On-road, the eight-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth power delivery during high-temperature summer drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features a driver-centric layout with five seats, emphasizing durable materials suited for an active lifestyle while maintaining high levels of insulation from external heat. Standard Rebel equipment often includes a large vertical touchscreen and a premium audio system, ensuring a comfortable environment for cross-border road trips. Rear passengers benefit from dedicated cooling vents, a necessity for the GCC climate.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive suite of airbags and advanced stability control systems optimized for both pavement and loose surfaces. This trim typically includes Forward Collision Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring, which are particularly valuable for navigating fast-moving multi-lane traffic in major GCC cities. The high-strength steel frame provides a robust foundation for both occupant protection and heavy-duty hauling.

The bottom line

Perfect for the enthusiast who wants the latest high-output performance and off-road hardware at a more accessible price point than GCC-spec dealer inventory.
