Summary

This one-year-old Renault Arkana is a standout choice for those seeking the modern coupe-SUV silhouette without the typical premium price tag. With mileage that is exactly in line with expected annual use in the GCC, this Evolution trim offers a balance of efficient turbocharged power and essential modern tech. The Metallic Black finish remains one of the most resilient colors for resale in the UAE and wider GCC market, ensuring your investment stays protected. It is an ideal urban commuter that handles the heat of city traffic and long desert highway stretches with equal poise. For a buyer wanting a 2025 model year vehicle that still feels fresh, this listing represents a highly practical entry into the stylish crossover segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 Arkanas

With 23,281 km on the odometer, this Arkana has been driven right at the typical GCC average for a one-year-old vehicle. While some listings may show lower mileage, they often come with higher price premiums, making this a balanced choice for a daily driver. The black exterior is a high-demand color in the region, consistently outperforming brighter shades when it's time to trade in or sell.

EVOLUTION vs Lower Trims

The Evolution trim serves as the modern standard for the Arkana, featuring the updated 7-inch Easy Link touchscreen with full smartphone integration. It includes essential GCC-ready features like rear air vents and a powerful dual-zone climate control system often omitted on base-spec models. You also benefit from LED Pure Vision headlights which provide significantly better visibility during nocturnal desert highway drives.

Arkana vs Segment Rivals

The Arkana leads rivals like the Toyota C-HR and Nissan Qashqai in pure cargo flexibility, offering a superior 485-litre boot that accommodates full-sized luggage more easily. Its 1.3L turbo engine delivers more torque than the naturally aspirated units found in many compact crossovers, making highway overtaking much smoother. The unique fastback design also provides a more premium road presence than more traditionally shaped competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The Arkana is remarkably efficient for the GCC, returning roughly 5.9 L/100km on combined cycles, which keeps fuel costs low even with daily inter-emirate commuting. Service intervals are typically every 15,000 km or 12 months, with a well-established authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. While European crossovers traditionally depreciate faster than Japanese rivals, the Arkana's shared platform with Nissan helps it maintain a competitive value retention of approximately 60-65% over three years.

Performance & Capability

The 1.3L turbocharged engine produces a punchy 155 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 9.1 seconds. This power is managed by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides quick shifts, ideal for merging into fast-moving highway traffic. With 200 mm of ground clearance, it easily handles the high speed bumps and uneven surfaces often found in urban developments across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for a driver-centric experience, featuring an air purifying system that is a massive benefit during the GCC's dustier months. Despite the sloping roof, the interior offers clever storage solutions totaling over 26 litres for personal items. High-quality fabric upholstery stays cooler in the sun than leather, and the rear AC vents ensure all four passengers stay comfortable during the peak of the summer heat.

Safety

Safety is a priority with a full suite of airbags, including front, side, and curtain protection. Standard driver aids include Electronic Stability Control and Hill Start Assist, which are particularly useful in multi-story parking structures and sandy patches. The inclusion of a rear camera and sensors as standard on this trim makes navigating tight city spots in Dubai or Riyadh significantly safer and easier.

The bottom line

Perfect for the style-conscious professional or a small family, this 2025 Arkana offers the look of a luxury coupe-SUV with the sensible running costs of a compact hatchback.
