• 210 mm standard ground clearance
• 589 litres boot space with rear seats upright

Summary

This 2025 Renault Koleos PE offers a near-new ownership experience with exceptionally low mileage, having covered less than 15,000 km in its first year. The White exterior is widely considered the strongest resale color in the GCC market, as it reflects heat efficiently and hides desert dust better than darker shades. Built on a shared platform with the Nissan X-Trail, this crossover provides Japanese mechanical reliability paired with modern European design. For UAE buyers, this PE trim represents a smart entry point into the current model year, prioritizing daily comfort and ease of use. It is a dependable family workhorse that handles both fast-moving city highways and long-distance desert drives with ease.

This Car vs Other 2025 Renault Koleos

With only 14,726 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000–25,000 km, representing significantly less wear and tear. The White exterior is the most sought-after color in the regional used market, ensuring faster resale and better value retention compared to bolder or darker tones. This specific listing provides the advantage of a 2025 model year with a 'like-new' mechanical profile.

PE vs Lower Trims

As the foundational trim for the 2025 model year in the GCC, the PE provides essential features that local buyers prioritize, including C-Shape LED daytime running lights and dual-zone automatic air conditioning for the harsh summer months. Unlike basic models in previous generations, this 2025 PE includes a rear-view camera and rear parking sensors as standard equipment. It balances cost-efficiency with the practical tech needed for UAE city driving.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos stands out against rivals like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 by offering class-leading rear legroom (32 cm of knee space) and a larger 60-liter fuel tank for long-distance cruising across the Emirates. While competitors often prioritize complex turbocharged engines, the Koleos uses a proven naturally aspirated 2.5L unit shared with Nissan, which is famously durable in high-heat environments. Its 589-litre boot space also surpasses many in the compact SUV segment, making it a superior choice for family road trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this FWD model averages approximately 8.1 L/100km, which is competitive for a non-hybrid SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with typical intervals set at 10,000 km or 6 months. Historically, the Koleos retains value better than many European rivals due to its shared mechanical components with Nissan, depreciating at a manageable rate for a current-year model.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5L 4-cylinder engine produces 170 hp and 233 Nm of torque, delivered through a smooth X-Tronic CVT that is optimized for highway overtaking. With 210 mm of ground clearance, it easily handles gravel tracks and weekend escapes to the wadis without the complexity of a heavy 4WD system. The front-wheel-drive configuration makes it lighter and more fuel-efficient for the daily commute between Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC summers, featuring a powerful dual-zone climate control system with dedicated rear vents to keep all passengers cool. The seating layout provides generous headroom and a 60/40 split-folding rear bench with adjustable rake positions for long-distance relaxation. High-quality acoustic glass helps insulate the interior from highway wind noise and external heat, maintaining a refined atmosphere during the hottest months.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of active and passive systems including Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Hill Start Assist, which are particularly useful on sandy or uneven surfaces. The PE trim comes standard with multiple airbags, a tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX points for child seats. Its 5-star Euro NCAP heritage provides peace of mind for family buyers, ensuring top-tier structural protection.

The bottom line

This 2025 Koleos PE is the ideal choice for a buyer seeking a current-generation SUV with minimal mileage and the security of a GCC-spec configuration. It offers the perfect balance of European style and Japanese reliability at a significant saving compared to a brand-new showroom unit.
