Renault Koleos PE 2.5

Highlights

• 8.1 L/100km combined fuel consumption
• 493 litres minimum boot space
• Strong value retention in the GCC used market

Summary

This 2025 Renault Koleos PE represents a smart entry point into a nearly-new SUV, offering a white exterior that is highly favored for heat reflection and resale value in the GCC. With its fuel-efficient 2.5L engine and spacious cabin, it bridges the gap between urban agility and highway comfort for small families. The low mileage of 15,300 km is a significant advantage, suggesting a vehicle that has barely begun its life cycle in the region's demanding climate. Compared to its Japanese rivals, it offers a more distinct European aesthetic without sacrificing the practical running costs essential for a daily commuter. For a buyer seeking a modern crossover with a fresh warranty profile, this listing is a high-value opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2025 Renault Koleos

With just 15,300 km on the odometer, this Koleos sits well below the typical GCC annual average of 20,000 to 25,000 km, positioning it as a low-mileage example for its model year. The white exterior is the most popular choice for the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring easier maintenance in dusty conditions and superior heat rejection. Choosing a 2025 model provides the peace of mind of modern manufacturing updates and a long remaining service life.

PE vs Lower Trims

As the base PE trim, this Koleos focuses on essential functionality and value while still including features often reserved for mid-range models in other segments, such as two-zone automatic climate control and a rear-view camera. It features 17-inch alloy wheels and C-shaped LED daytime running lights that maintain the premium look of the higher-tier SE and LE trims. This trim is specifically designed for the buyer who wants the Koleos's size and safety profile without the added complexity of higher-spec electronics.

Koleos vs Segment Rivals

The Koleos shares its robust mechanical platform with the Nissan X-Trail but distinguishes itself with a softer, more comfort-oriented suspension setup ideal for long highway drives between Emirates. It competes directly with the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4, offering a competitive 8.1 L/100km fuel efficiency that makes it a practical choice for daily Dubai or Riyadh traffic. Its European-designed interior emphasizes soft-touch materials and cabin quietness that often exceeds its more rugged Japanese counterparts.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is rated at a combined 8.1 L/100km, making it one of the more economical 2.5L crossovers for long-distance GCC commuting. Renault's extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia ensures parts and specialized maintenance are readily accessible. Historically, white Koleos models hold their value well in the GCC, typically depreciating at a rate of 10-12% annually, which is competitive for European brands in the local market. Routine service intervals are generally scheduled every 10,000 to 15,000 km for optimal performance in high-temperature environments.

Performance & Capability

The 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine produces a reliable 170 hp and 233 Nm of torque, delivered through a smooth CVT automatic transmission that excels in city stop-start traffic. With a ground clearance of 210 mm, it is well-suited for mounting curbs or navigating gravel tracks during weekend family outings. The front-wheel-drive configuration is optimized for road stability and fuel savings, providing enough power for confident highway overtaking while maintaining a refined cruising character at speed.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is tailored for GCC comfort, featuring a dual-zone automatic air conditioning system with dedicated rear vents to ensure all passengers stay cool during the summer months. While this specific configuration is listed for four seats, the Koleos is known for providing class-leading legroom and a reclining rear bench for enhanced long-distance comfort. The boot offers a versatile 493 litres of space, which expands to 1,707 litres with the rear seats folded, making it highly practical for airport runs or large grocery shops.

Safety

Safety is a core strength, with the Koleos having earned a 5-star Euro NCAP rating during its generational testing. Standard PE trim safety includes dual front airbags, ABS with emergency brake assist, and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Hill Start Assist. Rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera come standard, providing crucial assistance during tight parking maneuvers in busy urban centers.

The bottom line

This 2025 Koleos PE is the ideal choice for a value-conscious buyer looking for a near-new European SUV with the lowest possible mileage for the year. It combines daily fuel efficiency with the space required for GCC family life, all backed by a strong regional service network.
