Summary

This 2025 Land Cruiser VXR is a standout opportunity in the GCC market, offering the flagship luxury specification with remarkably low mileage for its first year. The black exterior is a high-demand resale color in the region, ensuring strong value retention when it's time to upgrade. As the VXR trim, it provides a significantly more refined cabin than the GXR, featuring premium materials and advanced cooling tech essential for the local climate. For a buyer seeking the definitive mix of desert-conquering capability and executive-level comfort, this nearly new example is the most logical choice available today. The VXR remains the gold standard for reliability and status across the UAE and the wider GCC.

This Car vs Other 2025 Land Cruisers

With just 9,347 km on the odometer, this vehicle has covered significantly less ground than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for SUVs in the GCC. The black-on-black color combination is among the most sought-after in the UAE used market, providing a distinct advantage in both prestige and future resale speed. Choosing a one-year-old model with such low mileage offers the benefit of a near-showroom experience without the initial depreciation hit of a zero-km car.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR is the flagship of the range, adding high-value features that GCC buyers prioritize, such as the 14-speaker JBL premium audio system and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with integrated navigation. Unlike the GXR, this trim includes ventilated second-row seats and a four-zone climate control system, ensuring all seven passengers remain comfortable during peak summer heat. It also introduces the full suite of Toyota Safety Sense and a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor, which are often optional or simplified on lower grades.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

The Land Cruiser LC300 leads rivals like the Nissan Patrol and Land Rover Defender with its massive 110-litre fuel tank, designed specifically for the long-distance hauls common between cities like Dubai and Riyadh. Its body-on-frame construction offers a level of structural durability in deep sand that monocoque competitors struggle to match over long-term ownership. Furthermore, the Toyota's 230 mm of ground clearance and Multi-Terrain Select system provide a more intuitive off-road experience for weekend desert expeditions.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6 delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 12.1 L/100km, which is a notable efficiency improvement over the previous generation V8 while producing more power for highway overtaking. Owners benefit from the most extensive authorized service network in the GCC, with specialized centers available in every major city across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Land Cruisers traditionally exhibit the lowest depreciation rates in the region, often retaining over 80% of their value after three years of ownership.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this VXR is the 409 hp Twin-Turbo V6, delivering 650 Nm of torque that allows the SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds—a figure that makes it surprisingly agile for its size. For off-road enthusiasts, the low-range transfer case and locking differentials are standard, complemented by Crawl Control which manages throttle and braking automatically on steep dunes. This mechanical setup ensures the vehicle is as capable of towing 3,500 kg as it is navigating the technical terrain of the Empty Quarter.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is configured for seven passengers with premium leather upholstery and a factory-integrated cool box in the center console for chilled beverages on the move. Advanced acoustic glass and superior insulation significantly reduce road and wind noise during high-speed highway cruising. Tech highlights include a head-up display and rear-seat entertainment screens, ensuring the VXR feels like a luxury lounge for family road trips across the emirates.

Safety

This VXR is equipped with the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Departure Alert, which are essential for maintaining safety on fast-moving multi-lane highways. Passive safety is managed by an extensive 10-airbag system, while the 360-degree camera and Blind Spot Monitoring provide critical visibility in heavy urban traffic. The vehicle also features Parking Support Brake and stability control systems specifically tuned for sand and loose gravel surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare chance to own a flagship VXR with under 10,000 km, offering the perfect balance of immediate availability, a high-demand color spec, and the best resale protection in the GCC market.
