Summary

The 2025 Zeekr 9X ULTRA is a technological tour de force, offering a 900V architecture that delivers supercar-level performance in a six-seat executive SUV format. As the mid-trim choice in the lineup, the Ultra balances staggering hybrid power with refined comfort features like zero-gravity seating and a 3800-watt sound system. The black exterior is the premier choice for the GCC market, maximizing presence while ensuring the highest possible resale potential across the region. With its plug-in hybrid setup, this SUV provides a silent, electric-only commute for the city and a massive 1,250 km total range for long-distance travel between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2025 9Xs

With delivery-mileage, this listing represents a prime opportunity to secure a new-generation flagship without the lead times typical for high-demand imports. The black exterior is consistently the strongest performing color for luxury SUVs in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, offering a significant liquidity advantage at resale compared to grey or white alternatives.

ULTRA vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is the entry point for the Ultra-Luxury experience, adding a significant layer of refinement over the Max trim. Key upgrades include the folding work table for the second-row passenger, privacy sunshades for all rear windows, and 22-point massage functions for both the first and second rows—features essential for executive use in the GCC.

9X vs Segment Rivals

The 9X competes directly with the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, but leads both in pure performance and electrical efficiency thanks to its 900V tri-motor setup. While rivals rely on traditional combustion engines, the 9X offers over 300 km of electric range and a sophisticated dual-chamber air suspension that surpasses the tech-readiness of established European giants.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption is highly competitive, as the 2.0L turbocharged engine acts primarily as a generator, maintaining efficiency even in heavy GCC stop-start traffic. While Zeekr is a newer entrant, authorized service coverage through AWR Automotive in the UAE ensures professional maintenance and parts availability. The model is currently seeing high demand in the secondary market, with the Ultra trim holding a premium position due to its balanced feature set.

Performance & Capability

With a combined 885 hp, the 9X Ultra reaches 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power for high-speed highway cruising. The 900V architecture allows for ultra-fast DC charging, taking the battery from 20% to 80% in approximately 9 minutes. For long-distance GCC road trips, the total system range of 1,250 km eliminates range anxiety entirely while maintaining a top speed of 240 km/h.

Comfort & Cabin

The six-seat layout features zero-gravity second-row captain chairs, perfectly suited for the regional culture of chauffeur-driven luxury. The cabin is insulated by acoustic glass and cooled by a high-output multi-zone climate system designed to handle 50°C summer peaks. Technology is centered around a massive 47-inch AR head-up display and a ceiling-mounted OLED cinema screen for rear passengers.

Safety

The 9X is built on a high-rigidity structure with 91% high-strength steel and aluminum, featuring the industry-first 'Four-in-One' integrated safety architecture. The full ADAS suite is powered by dual NVIDIA Thor-U chips and a 5-LiDAR sensing solution, providing Level 3-ready capabilities. Standard safety includes blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree surround view, and an advanced multi-stage airbag system covering all three rows.

The bottom line

This Zeekr 9X Ultra is the definitive choice for the tech-forward GCC executive who demands Range Rover-level luxury with the performance and efficiency of a next-generation hybrid.
