Summary

The 2026 Zeekr 9X Ultra enters the GCC market as a disruptive full-size hybrid SUV, blending supercar performance with executive-level comfort. Its white exterior is a top-tier choice for the region, ensuring maximum heat reflection and strong resale demand. In the competitive landscape of Dubai and Riyadh, this Ultra trim stands out with its standard 900V architecture and six-seat captain chair configuration. For the GCC buyer, the primary draw is the massive range, which virtually eliminates charging concerns during long cross-border drives between Emirates or to neighboring Saudi Arabia. This is a sophisticated, tech-forward alternative for those who find traditional European luxury SUVs too common on local roads.

This Car vs Other 2026 Zeekr 9Xs

As a 2026 model, this Zeekr 9X represents the latest in high-voltage hybrid technology and is effectively in new-car condition for the GCC market. Its white paint is the most practical choice for the Middle Eastern sun and historically maintains the highest residual value in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The six-seat layout in this specific listing is the most sought-after configuration for high-end family and executive transport.

ULTRA vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is a significant step above the Max, adding the high-capacity 70 kWh battery and a more powerful dual-motor system that drops the 0-100 km/h time significantly. It introduces GCC essentials like the 32-speaker Naim audio system and 'zero-gravity' reclining second-row seats with integrated footrests. While lower trims focus on basic efficiency, the Ultra adds the 900V architecture that allows for 10-80% charging in under 10 minutes at compatible DC stations.

9X vs Segment Rivals

The Zeekr 9X competes directly with the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, leading both in pure electric range and 0-100 km/h acceleration. Its 1,250 km combined range is a major advantage over traditional petrol rivals for long-distance highway cruising across the GCC. Additionally, the standard fitment of a 17-inch rear OLED screen and an onboard refrigerator gives it a luxury edge that usually requires expensive options on European competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The plug-in hybrid system is exceptionally efficient in GCC stop-start traffic, allowing for electric-only commuting throughout the week with petrol reserved for weekend trips. While depreciation for premium Chinese brands is still stabilizing in the GCC, the 9X's shared engineering with the Geely group ensures a growing parts and service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Service intervals are typically spaced every 20,000 km, keeping long-term maintenance costs competitive with established luxury brands.

Performance & Capability

With 700 horsepower and 935 Nm of torque, the 9X Ultra delivers effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways. The standard all-wheel-drive system is paired with dual-chamber air suspension that can increase ground clearance to 288 mm, making it capable of navigating light desert trails or gravel mountain roads. It features seven terrain-specific drive modes, including dedicated settings for sand and mud, tailored for regional weekend adventures.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a six-seat sanctuary featuring Nappa leather and a unique three-row theater seating arrangement where each row is slightly elevated for better visibility. To handle the extreme GCC summer, the Ultra comes standard with powerful multi-zone climate control and ventilation for both the front and second-row captain's chairs. The interior is dominated by dual 16-inch OLED screens and a massive 47-inch AR head-up display, creating one of the most technologically advanced environments in the SUV segment.

Safety

The Zeekr 9X Ultra is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite powered by roof-mounted LiDAR and Nvidia Drive Thor processing, providing high-level spatial awareness in fast-moving highway traffic. Standard safety features include 360-degree cameras, blind-spot monitoring, and a reinforced 22-layer battery shield for maximum impact protection. Its advanced stability control is specifically tuned to handle the transition between paved roads and sandy surfaces common in the region.

The bottom line

This 2026 Zeekr 9X Ultra is the perfect opportunity for a forward-thinking buyer who wants supercar performance and flagship luxury without the range limitations of a pure EV.
