Summary

This 2026 Avatr 07 Ultra represents a significant leap for the premium REEV segment in the GCC, offering a massive combined range that effectively eliminates range anxiety for long hauls like Dubai to Riyadh. As the range-extended version of the flagship Ultra trim, it avoids the weight of a massive EV battery while maintaining instant electric torque and an impressive 0–100 km/h time. The Chinese-spec software and hardware include advanced interior tech and unique design elements that stand out even in the crowded UAE luxury SUV market. White remains the most sought-after resale color across the Emirates, ensuring this nearly new crossover will hold its value exceptionally well. For the tech-forward buyer, the integration of Huawei and CATL technology makes this a mobile first-class lounge for the desert heat.

This Car vs Other 2026 Avatr 07s

With this vehicle being effectively brand new, the mileage is negligible compared to the 20,000–25,000 km annual average typical for GCC highway commuters. This Ultra trim features the higher-capacity 52.01 kWh CATL battery, which provides a significantly larger electric-only buffer than base variants. The white exterior is the gold standard for resale in the region, reflecting heat better than darker tones and maintaining high demand in the used market.

ULTRA vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is the definitive luxury choice, adding a sophisticated air suspension system with continuous damping control (CDC) that is not standard on the Elite. Inside, it upgrades the cabin to a massive 25-speaker Meridian surround sound system, whereas lower trims typically feature a 16-speaker setup. You also gain Nappa leather seating and 21-inch forged wheels, providing a more planted and premium feel on fast-moving highways.

Avatr 07 vs Segment Rivals

The Avatr 07 leads rivals like the Tesla Model Y and Li Auto L6 by offering a unique Range Extended (REEV) architecture that delivers a 1,200 km total range, far exceeding standard BEV competitors for inter-city travel. Its 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display bar offers a digital cockpit experience that makes most European luxury SUVs feel dated by comparison. Additionally, the standard double-glazed acoustic glass provides superior heat and noise insulation essential for the GCC climate.

Running Costs & Resale

As a Range Extended Electric Vehicle, this car runs primarily on electric power while the 1.5L engine acts as a generator, resulting in exceptional real-world efficiency during stop-start Dubai traffic. Service intervals are less frequent than traditional petrol SUVs, though it still requires standard oil changes for the range-extender at authorized service centers currently expanding across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Depreciation for premium Chinese brands is stabilizing as their tech dominance grows, with white Ultra models expected to retain roughly 80-85% of their value in the first two years.

Performance & Capability

The 595 horsepower output from the hybrid system allows this SUV to reach 100 km/h in a swift 6.6 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking on the E11. The intelligent 'Taihang' chassis adjusts damping 100 times per second to handle road imperfections, maintaining luxury sedan levels of comfort. The REEV system is specifically suited for the GCC, allowing you to run on pure electricity for the daily commute while having the petrol-backed security for cross-border road trips.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a showcase of high-end materials, with zero-gravity front seats featuring heating, ventilation, and massage functions to combat the summer heat. A dedicated 15.6-inch central screen manages the Huawei HarmonyOS cockpit, while rear passengers enjoy a spacious 965 mm of effective legroom. The 2,016-watt Meridian audio system uses headrest-mounted speakers to provide an immersive 7.1.4 spatial audio experience that remains clear even at high highway speeds.

Safety

This Ultra trim is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes 360-degree cameras with a transparent chassis mode, essential for navigating tight parking in Downtown Dubai. Standard safety features include nine airbags, blind-spot monitoring for fast highway traffic, and automatic emergency braking. The high-strength battery casing and IPX8 waterproof rating ensure the electrical system remains protected against physical impact and extreme weather conditions.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the futuristic tech of a top-tier EV without the range limitations of a battery-only car, this nearly new 2026 Avatr 07 Ultra is the most sophisticated REEV option available in the market today.
