Summary

This GCC-spec 735i Masterclass M Sport Package represents the peak of BMW's flagship executive sedan for the 2026 model year. In a region where presence matters, the M Sport aesthetic delivers a sharper, more modern silhouette than the traditional Excellence trim, while the grey exterior is one of the most resilient colors for retaining value in the local market. This generation of the 7 Series redefined the luxury segment with its bold split-headlight design and a cabin that feels more like a private lounge than a car. For the GCC buyer, the most important consideration is the robust regional cooling and the peace of mind provided by a vehicle built specifically for our climate's high-temperature demands.

This Car vs Other 2026 735is

While typical flagship sedans in the GCC cover significant highway distances between emirates, a 2026 model of this caliber is essentially new to the market. Choosing a GCC-spec example over a parallel import ensures that the sophisticated air conditioning and cooling systems are optimized for 45°C+ summer peaks. The Grey exterior finish is a strategic choice for the UAE, offering a high-end aesthetic while hiding desert dust better than darker hues and maintaining a strong resale profile.

MASTERCLASS M SPORT PACKAGE vs Lower Trims

The Masterclass M Sport Package is a significant step above the standard Excellence trim, prioritizing high-tech features that GCC buyers value most. It adds the revolutionary 31-inch 8K BMW Theatre Screen in the rear, effectively turning the back seat into a mobile cinema, alongside the upgraded Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Externally, the M Sport package replaces chrome with aggressive blacked-out trim and more muscular front and rear fascias, giving the car a far more commanding road presence.

735i vs Segment Rivals

The 735i competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the Audi A8, leading the segment in digital integration and rear-seat technology. While rivals focus on traditional luxury, the BMW offers the most advanced infotainment through its massive curved display and unique Interaction Bar. Additionally, the 735i provides a more engaging driving experience from the rear-wheel-drive platform, making it the preferred choice for owners who occasionally enjoy taking the wheel themselves.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the mild-hybrid inline-six averages approximately 8.1 L/100km on long GCC highway stretches, though city driving in heavy Dubai or Riyadh traffic will see this figure rise. Service intervals are typically every 12,000 to 15,000 km, with BMW's authorized service network (AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors in the UAE) being among the most comprehensive in the region. As a flagship European sedan, it follows a typical luxury depreciation curve, though the GCC-spec and M Sport configuration help it retain value better than base models.

Performance & Capability

The 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six delivers 286 hp, enabling a smooth 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.7 seconds. This powertrain is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission that is specifically calibrated for imperceptible shifts, ideal for high-speed cruising on the E11 or E311. While it is a substantial vehicle, the rear-wheel-drive setup and adaptive air suspension ensure it remains agile in city environments while providing a cloud-like ride over uneven surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Masterclass trim offers ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, an essential feature for the GCC summer. The four-zone automatic climate control allows every occupant to maintain their ideal temperature, supported by rear cooling vents integrated into the B-pillars and center console. The cabin is further enhanced by the Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof, which features integrated LED light threads to mirror the ambient lighting chosen by the driver.

Safety

This trim includes BMW's full suite of Active Driving Assistant systems, featuring lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360° surround-view camera that is particularly helpful when navigating tight parking spaces in major GCC cities. The adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist are perfect for nocturnal desert highway drives, providing maximum visibility without blinding oncoming traffic. The car also features a robust airbag system and advanced stability control systems tuned for the sandy and dusty conditions often found on regional roads.

The bottom line

This 2026 735i Masterclass is the perfect opportunity for an executive buyer to secure the region's most technologically advanced sedan in its most desirable M Sport configuration.
