Summary

This 2026 Leopard 7 Ultra represents the cutting edge of plug-in hybrid SUVs, offering supercar-level acceleration alongside massive fuel efficiency. As a current-year model with zero mileage, it provides a unique opportunity to own a high-spec flagship that effectively bridges the gap between daily electric commuting and long-range cross-border travel. The green exterior is a distinctive choice that stands out in the UAE's monochromatic traffic, while the Ultra trim ensures every premium cabin feature is standard. For a GCC buyer, the primary draw is the ability to cross the Emirates on electric power alone or head into the desert with the security of a backup petrol engine. This is a highly competitive alternative to established luxury crossovers, offering significantly more technology for the investment.

This Car vs Other 2026 Leopard 7s

With a Vehicle Age of 0 years and zero kilometers, this specific listing offers a factory-fresh experience compared to earlier 2026 units that may have already accumulated initial road wear. The green finish is a premium and recognizable color for the Fangchengbao brand, providing better visual presence and potential resale appeal for buyers seeking the model's signature look. Being a fresh delivery, the battery health is at its peak, ensuring maximum range for local highway use.

ULTRA vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is the definitive flagship, adding the sophisticated DiSus-C adaptive suspension system which is essential for maintaining comfort on the UAE's high-speed roads and stability in sandy conditions. It upgrades the cabin with a 26-inch AR head-up display and a 20-speaker premium audio system, features that are often optional or simplified on the Comfort or Luxury trims. You also benefit from Nappa leather upholstery with standard ventilation and massage functions for the front seats, which are vital for comfort during the peak GCC summer.

Leopard 7 vs Segment Rivals

The Leopard 7 leads rivals like the BMW X3 or Volvo XC60 Recharge in pure electric range, offering 210 km (CLTC) compared to the roughly 50-80 km typical of European competitors. Its intelligent 4WD system is specifically tuned for both urban efficiency and light desert trails, providing more versatility than road-biased premium crossovers. Furthermore, the 1,300 km total range allows for round-trip drives between Dubai and Riyadh with minimal stops, a significant advantage over pure EVs.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this PHEV is impressively low in stop-start city traffic, as it can operate almost entirely as an EV; even with a depleted battery, it maintains efficiency around 6.5 L/100km. Service intervals are recommended every 20,000 km, and while this is a Chinese-spec vehicle, BYD’s expanding authorized service network in the UAE and wider GCC provides reliable maintenance support. Depreciation is stabilizing as the brand gains a foothold, with the high-tech Ultra trim expected to retain value better than base models due to the demand for its specific luxury features.

Performance & Capability

The Leopard 7 Ultra delivers a staggering 483 hp, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 4.5 seconds for effortless highway overtaking. Its intelligent all-wheel-drive system and dedicated terrain modes make it surprisingly capable for weekend trips to the dunes or gravel wadi floors. With Yunlian-C adaptive damping, the vehicle provides a plush ride quality that filters out road imperfections during long desert highway hauls while remaining flat and controlled through corners.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a high-tech sanctuary featuring a massive 15.6-inch central display and a specialized 4.5L refrigerator that can both cool and warm drinks—a perfect addition for long summer drives. Quad-zone climate control and high-performance AC ensures that all five passengers stay cool even when external temperatures exceed 45°C. Double-glazed acoustic glass and premium materials provide excellent heat and noise insulation, making the cabin feel like a business-class lounge.

Safety

Safety is managed by the DiPilot 100 suite, which includes 360-degree cameras with a transparent chassis view that is incredibly useful for navigating tight parking spots or avoiding rocks off-road. The standard ADAS package provides adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, which significantly reduces driver fatigue on the long, straight highways connecting the Emirates. Built on a high-strength chassis, it also includes a comprehensive airbag system to ensure maximum occupant protection.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants supercar performance and flagship luxury without the high running costs, this 2026 Leopard 7 Ultra is a standout choice that perfectly suits the GCC's long-distance driving culture.
