Summary

This 2026 Hyptec HT Ultra is an exceptional find for the tech-forward GCC buyer, offering a nearly-new ownership experience with just 11,893 km. As the flagship Ultra trim, it features the iconic motorized gullwing rear doors that provide unmatched curb appeal and easier access in tight urban parking. The Maroon finish is a sophisticated, high-end choice that stands out in a market dominated by white and silver, while maintaining strong desirability for premium resale. In a segment often defined by standard crossovers, this model offers a unique mix of 800V rapid-charging tech and executive-level cabin refinement. For the UAE driver, the primary advantage is the combination of long-range capability and a robust local service network backed by Gargash.

This Car vs Other 2026 Hyptec HTs

With just 11,893 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC, representing a significant low-mileage advantage. The Maroon exterior is a rare, premium color choice that differentiates it from the high volume of white fleet units, likely aiding value retention in the specialized EV resale market. As a current-year model with a GCC-specific configuration, it retains the full benefits of local warranty support and optimized cooling systems.

ULTRA GULLWING DOOR vs Lower Trims

The Ultra trim is defined by its signature motorized gullwing rear doors, which utilize 12 ultrasonic radars to safely clear low ceilings in mall parking garages. Stepping up from the Elite trim also adds a 22-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system and high-fidelity Nappa leather throughout the cabin. Furthermore, the Ultra includes front-row massage functions and chauffeur-grade rear seating with a 143-degree recline, turning the SUV into a mobile executive lounge.

Hyptec HT vs Segment Rivals

The Hyptec HT competes with the Tesla Model Y and the BMW iX3, leading the segment in visual drama and rear-seat luxury. While rivals focus on minimalistic interiors, the HT provides a more traditional luxury experience with dedicated footrests and fold-out tray tables for rear passengers. Its 800V architecture also allows for significantly faster DC charging peaks than many European competitors, making it more efficient for busy professionals.

Running Costs & Resale

Operating an electric SUV in the GCC offers substantial savings, with home charging costs representing a fraction of the expense for Super-grade petrol. Service intervals are less frequent than internal combustion rivals, focusing primarily on cabin filters and brake checks at authorized Gargash centers across the UAE. Historical data for the brand shows a resale value retention of approximately 66% at the three-year mark, which is competitive for the premium Chinese EV segment.

Performance & Capability

The 241 hp rear-mounted motor delivers the immediate, linear torque characteristic of high-end EVs, ensuring effortless merging on fast-moving highways like Sheikh Zayed Road. The 800V electrical system is the performance highlight, capable of adding 140 km of range in just 10 minutes when using a high-output DC fast charger. Despite its luxury focus, the HT remains composed at high speeds with a low center of gravity that aids stability during cross-emirate highway runs.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is engineered for the extreme GCC summer, featuring powerful multi-zone climate control and ventilated front seats as standard. The 2,935 mm wheelbase provides class-leading legroom, while the panoramic sunroof is treated with advanced heat-shielding to maintain a cool interior temperature. Interior tech is centered around a massive floating touchscreen and a 22-speaker audio system that provides a theater-like experience for all five occupants.

Safety

The Hyptec HT is equipped with a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Level 2 Cruise Assistance which combines adaptive cruise control with lane centering for relaxed long-distance desert driving. The 360-degree camera system is essential for maneuvering the large SUV in tight spaces, while the unique gullwing doors feature dedicated obstacle sensors to prevent contact with overhead structures. Active safety features like blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking provide crucial peace of mind in high-density city traffic.

The bottom line

This is the ideal opportunity for a style-conscious professional to own a flagship electric SUV with showroom-level mileage and a dramatic road presence that no rival can match.
