• Seven seats with second-row captain chairs

Summary

This 2026 Infiniti QX80 Autograph represents the pinnacle of Japanese luxury engineering, offering a massive leap in performance and cabin tech over its predecessors. The transition to the twin-turbo V6 provides immediate power that feels much more responsive in fast-moving Dubai or Riyadh traffic than the old naturally aspirated units. As a top-tier Autograph trim, it features exclusive massaging seats and ultra-premium materials that rivals struggle to match at this price point. In the GCC market, the QX80 remains a formidable choice for those who need genuine seven-seat capacity without sacrificing executive-level refinement. Its robust cooling system and heavy-duty drivetrain make it perfectly suited for the region's demanding summer temperatures and long-distance highway travel.

This Car vs Other 2026 QX80s

With a vehicle age of 0 years, this QX80 is essentially in factory condition, offering the full benefit of the latest generational redesign. While many units in the GCC used market accumulate high highway mileage quickly, this example provides a fresh starting point for a long ownership cycle. The Autograph trim is highly sought after in the UAE and Saudi Arabia for its superior cabin insulation and heat-reflective glass, which maintains resale strength better than entry-level trims.

AUTOGRAPH CAPTAIN CHAIRS vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim transforms the QX80 into a true flagship by adding semi-aniline leather upholstery with unique quilting and open-pore wood trim not found on the Luxe or Sport grades. Crucially for GCC families, it upgrades the second row to ventilated and massaging captain chairs with a dedicated touchscreen controller for climate and comfort. You also get the full 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system and a Biometric Cooling system that uses infrared sensors to direct airflow precisely where passengers are warmest.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Cadillac Escalade and Lexus LX, the QX80 Autograph offers a more modern digital experience with its dual 14.3-inch displays and integrated Google built-in. It maintains a class-leading towing capacity of 3,850 kg, outperforming many European monocoque SUVs while providing a smoother ride thanks to the standard Electronic Air Suspension. The Japanese engineering focus ensures the A/C system and electronics remain reliable under extreme thermal stress, a historical advantage over its American competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

The new twin-turbo V6 delivers a combined fuel economy of approximately 13.8 L/100km, which is competitive for a full-size luxury SUV in GCC stop-start traffic. Infiniti's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, typically requiring maintenance every 10,000 km. Japanese luxury brands historically experience lower depreciation rates in the GCC than their European counterparts, with the QX80 Autograph expected to retain significant value due to its high demand as a family flagship.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 produces 450 hp and a massive 700 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in roughly 6.7 seconds. This powertrain is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission that provides smooth, effortless overtaking on long desert highways. The standard Electronic Air Suspension and Dynamic Digital Suspension allow you to raise the vehicle for obstacles or lower it for easier passenger access, while the All-Mode 4WD system ensures stability on sand-drifted roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The Autograph interior is designed for ultimate climate control, featuring a sophisticated multi-zone system with infrared sensors that monitor passenger body temperatures. The seven-seat layout is defined by the second-row captain chairs, which offer executive-level legroom and independent massage functions. Acoustic glass and extensive sound deadening create a quiet sanctuary, protecting occupants from high-speed wind noise and external heat during long cross-border drives.

Safety

The 2026 QX80 comes equipped with the ProPILOT Assist 2.1 suite, offering hands-off highway driving capabilities on compatible roads and sophisticated lane-centering tech. Safety is further bolstered by a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, which is essential for maneuvering a vehicle of this size in tight urban parking. Standard features like Blind Spot Intervention and Predictive Forward Collision Warning provide critical protection on fast-moving GCC multi-lane highways.

The bottom line

This Autograph trim QX80 is the ideal choice for a GCC buyer who wants the peak of Japanese luxury tech and towing power without the long wait times of a new factory order.
