Summary

This 2026 Infiniti QX80 Autograph represents the peak of the model's total redesign, offering a complete departure from previous generations with its sophisticated twin-turbocharged powertrain. The Autograph trim is highly sought after in the GCC market for its exclusive quilted semi-aniline leather and second-row massage functions, which significantly bolster its long-term resale appeal. In the regional context, its brand-new platform and zero-year age make it a compelling alternative to more common luxury SUVs that have aged through their cycles. With a grey exterior—one of the most stable resale colors in the region—and a focus on rear-cabin luxury, it is perfectly suited for executive family duties across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2026 QX80s

As a brand-new vehicle with zero years of age, this QX80 sits at the very beginning of its service life, offering the full benefit of the manufacturer's newest tech suite. In the GCC used market, finding a current-year model in the range-topping Autograph trim provides a significant head start on value retention compared to lower-spec variants. Its grey finish is a high-demand choice locally, ensuring it remains a competitive asset when it eventually returns to the pre-owned market.

AUTOGRAPH CAPTAIN CHAIRS vs Lower Trims

The Autograph trim adds layers of refinement not found on the Luxe or Sport grades, most notably the dot-quilted semi-aniline leather and second-row massaging seats. It also features the exclusive ProPILOT Assist 2.1 for enhanced highway driving and a dedicated rear-seat touchscreen console to manage the tri-zone climate system. These additions, alongside the 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system, cater specifically to the high expectations of luxury buyers in the GCC.

QX80 vs Segment Rivals

The QX80 competes directly with the Lexus LX600 and Cadillac Escalade, leading the segment with a massive 700 Nm of torque available from low in the rev range. Its 3,855 kg towing capacity outclasses many rivals, making it a superior choice for hauling marine equipment or luxury trailers. Furthermore, the inclusion of biometric cooling technology is a segment-first feature that provides a distinct advantage in the extreme summer heat of the Gulf.

Running Costs & Resale

The new twin-turbo V6 offers improved efficiency over the outgoing V8, with real-world combined consumption averaging approximately 13.8 L/100km. Service intervals are typically scheduled every 10,000 km at authorized centers, which are extensively available across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Historically, the QX80 maintains a strong resale value in the GCC, typically retaining around 50-55% of its value after three years, outperforming many European luxury counterparts.

Performance & Capability

The 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 delivers 450 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in approximately 6.3 seconds. This power is managed by a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission and an advanced All-Mode 4WD system, ensuring confidence on both high-speed desert highways and loose gravel tracks. The standard Electronic Air Suspension allows the vehicle to adapt its height for improved aerodynamics at speed or easier cabin access when parked.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured with seven seats, featuring executive second-row captain chairs that offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Climate control is a priority, with the Biometric Cooling system using infrared sensors to monitor passenger temperatures and direct airflow exactly where it is needed. Acoustic glass and extensive insulation ensure a whisper-quiet environment, shielding occupants from the noise and heat of GCC city traffic.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a comprehensive ADAS suite with 3D Around View Monitoring, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and blind-spot intervention. The ProPILOT Assist 2.1 platform provides semi-autonomous driving capabilities, which is particularly useful for reducing driver fatigue on long cross-emirate journeys. For family protection, the cabin is equipped with a full array of airbags, including side-curtain coverage for all three rows.

The bottom line

This 2026 Autograph is the ultimate choice for a buyer who demands the very latest in Japanese luxury and engineering with the highest possible specification for the GCC market.
